1. You can tell from that pic that he has a long torso as he is about the same height as the guy next to him but his waist is noticeably lower.

   That being said, I would love to be in a Michael Phelps/Ryan Lochte 3-way. Yumm!

12. Juan: Yes, I too thought he kinda look like Kids' Leo Fitzpatrick.
    Also, in the movie "The Ring", the Psych/Doctor Rachel goes to see, her son sitting in the floor playing always reminds me of Phelps with that long face and protruding ears. Kind of obscure I know but he does...

14. Yes there was an analysis of Michael's body type last nite on NBC. True his long torso, huge wingspan, and relatively shorter legs make him a genetically perfect swimmer. The big feet help too. I have a similar body type and was a fast swimmer in high school days. Not as fast cause my feet are 11's not 14's. I think what I admire most about Michael is his mental discipline.

16. I don't fancy Phelps but I have never before been so impressed by an athletes performance. I actually was cheering for him in my living room as is a if he was a horse I had bet on at Del Mar.

17. I am a die-hard (huh huh, he said hard!) hairy daddy admirer myself, but I think Michael Phelps is a beautiful boy! Proportions-smortions! But it isn't just his body, guys. Yes, he has the musculature of a god, an adorable face, probably a humongous everything-that-goes-with-it, but have you listened to the interviews? He won the medals, but "I couldn't have done it without my team..." He is a sweet, gracious, poised, self-possessed young man with dedication and a whole lot of heart. THAT is what makes him beautiful.

    And frankly, I wouldn't kick Piersol out of bed either - what a cutie!
