DJ A.M., Travis Barker to Make Full Recovery After Lear Jet Crash

DJ A.M. and Travis Barker formerly of Blink-182 were the sole survivors of a Lear Jet crash outside Columbia, South Carolina late Friday night and suffered second and third degree burns. The other passengers were " Sarah Lemmon, 31, of Anaheim Hills, Calif.; co-pilot James Bland, 52, of Carlsbad, Calif.; security guard Charles Still, 25, of Los Angeles; and Barker’s assistant Chris Baker, 29, also of Los Angeles."
The AP reported that the pilot tried to abort take-off after a potential blown tire. A.M. and Barker were thrown from the plane and were seen near it shortly after the crash attempting to extinguish the fires burning on each other.
Both are expected to make full recoveries, though it could take up to a year.
