George W. Bush Speaks to RNC, Says 'Overseeing' Gustav Efforts

George W. Bush phoned in his appearance at the Republican National Convention last night (AFTER THE JUMP) because he says he was overseeing the damage from Hurricane Gustav, which struck Monday morning and was thankfully far less damaging than feared, so much so that the Convention picked up again when it was expected to be curtailed. Remember how Bush oversaw Katrina?
In actuality, Republicans were actually trying to clean up the disaster left by the Bush presidency.
Meanwhile, a bit of deja vú, below...

I know the conditions must suck, but "We have no clothes?" If you're not bright enough to bring at LEAST a few days worth of clothes, it's NOT the government's fault. I also heard that African American guy on NBC(?) this morning complaining that they aren't going to get any "compensation." Sorry, but natural disasters (usually) don't come with cash.
