McCain Campaign Looking into Delay of VP Debate as Well?
CNN reported last night that the McCain campaign is also looking into the possibility of delaying the vice presidential debate if there's no bailout deal by Friday:
"In this scenario, the vice presidential debate between Joe Biden and Sarah Palin would be rescheduled for a date yet to be determined, and take place in Oxford, Mississippi, currently slated to be the site of the first presidential faceoff this Friday. [Senator Lindsey] Graham says the McCain camp is well aware of the position of the Obama campaign and the debate commission that the debate should go on as planned — but both he and another senior McCain adviser insist the Republican nominee will not go to the debate Friday if there's no deal on the bailout."
Given Palin's witless performance in last night's Katie Couric interview, it's no wonder this shifty maneuvering is going on.
Meanwhile, the second half of Sarah Palin's Katie Couric interview is scheduled for tonight. Last night, Keith Olbermann took apart the latest round of Palin revelations, including her blessing in Wasilla three years ago by a Kenyan witch doctor.

Why isn't THIS being covered as much as Obama's past (and now denounced) ties to Wright!?! I am SO SICK of this nation and its right, conservative control of the media AND our government. Maybe it is time for a revolution, cause it seems people need to WAKE THE F&*K UP!

No, THE QUEEN, I don't mean, "can she use her tongue". All of us whores (and former whores) can do that. I mean, I hope they find a video of her speaking in tongues like the Pentecostals do. Put that on TV and McCain would win West Virginia and nothin' else...not even Alaska.

I'm the LAST person on the planet to defend Palin the Absurd, but please make a correction in this story: that guy is a witch-HUNTER, not a witch doctor... OK, it's a difference without much of a distinction....freakish behavior, regardless.

If McCain-Palin wins in November, we will know once and for all that there are redneck idiots out there who will vote for anyone as long as they're republican. I mean, just look at Palin. LOOK AT HER. Every single day, at least two new creepy facts pop up about her.

The guy is a xtian witch HUNTER. Not a witch doctor.
A huge difference. A witch doctor actualy has some cred with prescribing herbs for illness (aspirin was first created from willow bark, etc)
A witch hunter as in his case turned a town against a woman for causing car wrecks, blighting crops, etc with magical powers and they wanted to stone her.
Anyway; the scariest part to me isn't the witch hunter's prayer about protecting Sarah from a spirit of witchcraft (in the 21st century), but rather the speaking in toungues you hear from the congregation underneath his loud prayer.

i believe the vogue phrase is, "a distinction without much difference". correct me if i am wrong.
i agree with you, however, on the absurdity that is the notion of sarah palin as a national leader, but please, let's not propagate a phrase that has outworn its currency quicker than the dollar or the mccain campaign has.
stock phrases are only useful to lazy minds.

btw, the term for talking in tongues is glossolalia, i believe. and, yes, craziness....

Okay darlings, i know some of you are a bit worried about me so here's the story. Somebody (or it could even be serveral people for all i know) is or are hacking me and using my handle. I appreciate the concern about me having comppletely lost my marbles, etc. So I shall bravely continue on and let you all sort it out as to who is the real "queen".

I would say that catholics call it glossolalia but pentecostals just call it tongues or the spirit is upon meeeeee "yaba daba doo...".

The catholics I will concede at least expect it to be a real language spoken here on earth and send in a legion of priests, psychologists, and linguists to thoroughly check such. With most being frauds which the catholics acknowledge as frauds.
I so hope they do find a tape of her doing it herself.
Heck, back in the day I visited a few pentecostal churches and saw people rolling around on the ground, almost frothing at the mouth, jumping up and down on pews, etc.
Where the heck is Larry Flint? If anybody can spend a lot of cash up in alaska to ferret out some hidden tapes of Palin doing such, it would be Larry.
