  1. and how does presenting this BS affect how people will understand how either McCain or Obama will deal with our collapsing economy?

    It's the economy, stupid!

  2. Obama should have known better. Remember when Hillary Clinton made the reference to Robert Kennedy that caused all that fuss? Live by the sword, die by the sword I guess...

  3. I loved the comment - would have loved it more had it been, "You put lipstick on a dog, it's still a bitch."

The double standard is ridiculous. She can jab and punch, but he can't - because he's a sexist or picking on a girl. BS! She's running for Vice President, second in command - if she can't handle a few punches and jabs herself how can she be expected to run a country?

  4. This is what I call the republican's latest strategy: "Fogey dust and Palin's pearls of special needs"

    It seems to be working.

  5. This seems so trivial even for McCain, that I can't help but think their internal poll numbers haven't really improved.

  6. DC20008: TERRIFIC point!

To anyone else: Has Obama said ANYTHING wrong in this election? Ever? Or do we just ignore his mis-steps and focus on others. Funny, Biden was SO WRONG when he used to criticize Obama but now he's at the right hand of God. In this case, the pig comment was kinda dumb to make. My opinion: so what...lets not have either side make a big deal. And please, like mentioned earlier - remember the drama with Hillary and the Bobby Kennedy comment. That was dumb too. They're politicians, they say stupid stuff, then they say they didn't mean it - when you know they planned it. Everything on each side is carefully planned to make it look like it is not planned.

  7. hmmmm, obama may have meant no harm but it was an unfortunate turn of phrase that may well work against him... students of subliminal psychology may well wonder what he was thinking... and he hasn't apologized or said he did not mean it as a personal attack -- perhaps that would be the gentlemanly thing to do and yet all's fair in love and war but i fear mccain is going to use this to his advantage...
