Poisoned Tyra Banks Resuscitated by Gay Prince Couture
Last night, America's Next Top Model broadcast its annual "makeover" episode, in which Banks' doting models are transformed at the salon, and Tyra Banks, Jay Manuel, and Miss Jay went way over the top in revealing that the day had arrived.
What the whole Snow White theme has to do with makeovers I have no idea, but I have to say this fairy tale wasn't lacking enthusiasm.

Tyra really is unbearable now. Her little high-pitched good witch interludes were jaw-droppingly embarrassing. I have to wonder if her production people hate her and are trying to humiliate her with bad advice.
Somebody needs to tell Tyra Banks that she does Tyra Banks really well, but whenever she tries to act or do a character she's kind of horrifying.

Oh I see more garbage reality tv.
I watch one tv show and then go outside or read.
TV today is pure garbage and she proves it over and over again.

The best part was watching Sheena whenever the camera was on her. Even she couldn't believe that shit was happening right before her own eyes.

yes, the hair is on purpose, undamnfortunately! Did anyone else see the season premiere? Holy hell Tyra!! She lost Twiggy and got even worse than she was before. And by worse I mean cheesier, and by cheesier I mean low budget and broke, and by broke I mean she's relying on sponsorship from WAL-MART! Does she know that half of her audience is gay men, and unless they live in bumblefuck, when given the option, would avoid Wal-Mart at all cost?

Sometimes I really think that Tyra sees this show as some big slumber party, and she's putting on skits with her friends. I'm certain she thinks this is all really funny, but I just shake my head, "Oh, Ty-Ty."

Yeah, Tyra is such a fucking hypocrite. She demands that her charges/hamsters/Top Models-in-training be "real" and "honest", yet this is a woman who sets women of color back by wearing white weaves and wigs, and acts so affected and fake, even more than any beauty pageant contestant. This show has lost all credibility. No wonder the supermodel in American culture is dead. No wonder ANTM has never produced a legitimate, successful (abroad AND domestic) top model.
