Sarah Palin: I'm the New Energy, the New Face, the New Ideas

Palinage

At the beginning of this clip, watch McCain in the background. Rigid.

He looks terrified that, you know, his running mate might make an awkward crack about a candidate's age...

Watch it, AFTER THE JUMP...

  2. I know I shouldn't say this, but I really can't stand this woman!! Her shrieking for McCain is so obnixious that I just want slap the Jesus out of her.... These two have got to be a joke!

  3. It's going to be interesting to see how her appeal nets out in the actual election. On one hand, she has motivated the base of the Republican party, as well as generating crowds, volunteers and money. On the other hand, I think that she will turn off independent voters, as well as increase contributions to Obama.

  4. OMG Couric is playing her like a violin! She falls right though the trap door. This would 'studied' journalism and was on the air as sportcaster for a while- you'd think she'd get interview conduct 101.

  5. i wonder where the queen & the countess are in the midst of all this. i suppose they finally sawa reality and are lying passed out in their tawdry rumpus room surrounded by all those empty bottles of cook's they've been trying to pass of as krug.

  6. so she's essentially saying, "I'm the Mary, you're the Rhoda!"

  7. It would be easier to have some respect for the woman if she just said to Katie Couric 'look, it was a joke. not a great one, but a joke'. Instead, she comes out with this BS that just makes her look so lame and weak. Pathetic.

  8. McCain's campaign has become a national farce. At first it was funny too, but this ploy is depressingly transparent.

What "new idea" does Sarah Palin represent? The "new idea" of giving the nuclear codes to a person wholly unprepared for the responsibility?

  10. "and...ya know, Biden has experience and I'm new. So, what that means is that he's been around for a long time and has all this experience and 'i'm not saying it as a negative thing,' he just, ya know, has more experience." Well said Palin...God help us all.

  13. Unfuckingbelieveable! Have they no shame?

  14. There's a reason our candidates should be "run through the mill" for 18 months -- we weed out the chaff.... I'm all for having a long pre-election cycle.... Too bad the "base" just loves this crap.

  15. She's about as dumb as two cold boogers on a paper plate! Please VOTE. We've had stupid and no leadership for 8(EIGHT) years!

  16. Are we being PUNKED?

  17. Tonight's abc world news episode reported that that among likely voters, obama got 50 or 52% and mccain got 46%, so with the margin of error it was pretty damn even. I can't fathom that. How can is it that Obama/Biden hasn't got twice or treble the lead by now? Since the conventions, I've been waiting for the Obama ticket to far out pace Mccain & that hasn't happened. Is it that the GOP "base" simply won't vote for a black man? Is it race that's a factor?

Change of topic: does anyone think Ron Paul as a write-in will draw any votes away from the GOP ticket?

  19. i'm telling you my dahlings don't count la palin out... more suprises are in store... and wouldn't it be the irony of ironies if she was the harbringer of change you all desire... WHAT THE FUCK? you may very well say, well hold on to your rosary beads...

  20. Is anyone else expecting to see Fred Willard or Eugene Levy pop up somewhere in this campaign? This all seems like some kind of Christopher Guest movie...

    Posted by: Steve | Sep 30, 2008 8:56:46 PM

  21. Shut up, Queen. Your apologia for Palin got really tiresome quite a while ago. What's she going to surprise us with? How fucking stupid she is? Wait, that won't come as a surprise.

And what change will she bring? Stripping us of our rights? Be as stubborn as you want for as long as you want; it doesn't mean she's anything besides the shittiest candidate ever for the nation's second-highest office. And that includes Quayle. I won't be holding onto rosary beads, tampons, or any of the other crap you've long been telling us to hold on to as part of your bizarre fascination with this moron. How can you respect someone who is, no two ways about it, so incredibly stupid?

And yes, Daniel, the reason is racism. If the Democratic candidate were a white man, the race wouldn't even be close. It's disgusting.

  22. I wonder what the lesbian blogs are saying about our friend, Sarah. ?? I think the Obama campaign is smart by not acknowledging or giving her any credit. From the CBS clips, I can see why this is an effective campaign tactic.

I think Biden needs to play it cool on Thursday. Let her do the talking...and watch the foot go in the mouth.

  23. What fucking second grader listens to political speeches? She is beyond bad.

  24. If Biden focuses on Mcain, plays nice with Palin, she will cook her own goose.

  25. I seriously hope (and yes, I'd probably even go so low as praying) that come november 5th, we can look back and say that this woman is the reason why mccain didn't have a shot in hell this election...

besides all the other obvious ones.
