Queen Latifah Moderates Biden-Palin Debate

SNL does it again. You almost want Palin to stick around after the election so Fey can continue this streak. Almost. And Queen Latifah's a welcome addition to just about anything.
Fey as Palin: "I believe marriage is meant to be a sacred institution between two unwilling teenagers."
Watch it, AFTER THE JUMP...

Almost being the key word. I do not under any circumstances want that woman to stick around for anything. She needs to go back to Alaska where she will be run out of the capitol an a rail. After this she needs to go away forever. We had our Anita Bryant moment 35 years ago.

Tina Fey as Palin is the only good thing to come out of Palin's candidacy. With her evil weekend accusations of Obama "palling around with terrorists" and "not a man who sees America as you and I do" (fear translation: he's a dark Muslim elitist terrorist who's going to blow up your White House), it's clear where she and the McCain campaign are headed. Expect relentless, baseless attacks delivered in folksy non sequiturs in the next few weeks since that's the only way McCain is going to win this, as even Karl Rove admits. In a NYTimes essay yesterday, Frank Rich supports my belief that Palin would love nothing better than to leapfrog over the old man to take on the presidency herself with First Dude Todd ASAP. With that in mind, much as I love Tina, I pray that character gets killed off in early Nov.

...I actually found this skit remarkably unfunny. The only line that got me to actually LOL was the "marriage for teenagers" one. Too long, and not enough Tina Fey. :)

Each time that they've brought Tina Fey back since the first (so, two times), I've been concerned that too many trips to the well would ruin the joke... but no, it just keeps getting better and better.
"Can I call you Joe?"
"Of course."
"OK, 'cause I practiced a couple of zingers where I called ya Joe."
AMAZING.
Oh, and is it just me or are Jason Sudeikis' bones completely jumpable? (Not necessarily in his Joe Biden get-up, more in general.)

One of my favorite Karen Walker lines applies here: "It's funny because it's true"
