It's generally a “no-no” for a candidate to discuss their plans beyond election day should they lose, but that's exactly what Sarah Palin did in an interview with ABC's Elizabeth Vargas yesterday, when Vargas asked if she planned to say to herself, “I've had it. I'm going back to Alaska.”
No doubt McCain would rather she stay focused on this election. According to CNN's Dana Bash, the remarks, which began with a question about the 2012 election, left a McCain aide stunned.
