  1. The math is actually quite simple: McCain is going to lose.

    Hallelujah.

  2. An excellent website is much better than watching "news" casters trying to fill airspace is:

    http://www.fivethirtyeight.com/

    vote early, vote often

  3. I e-mailed all my family in Pennsylvania (where I'm from) and urged them to vote. My mom responded and said she has the whole family read to vote for Obama tomorrow (they're former republicans who voted for Bush!).

  4. JLS,

tell your mom, "thanks" from Derrick from Philly. She'll know who I am. Like Norma Desmond, I never go away.

  5. I have my book and warm clothes ready for a potentially long line. Hopefully I won't have to stand in line 8 hours (some early voting sites reporting such) , but I am more than willing to do so for a straight dem ticket vote.

How many repubs can and will do the same? We have the enthusiasm besides the numbers and in the end the enthusiasm gap will help the most to make it a landslide tomorrow.

VOTE! VOTE! VOTE! No sleeping in my brothers and sisters. No walking away from a long line. No excuses. VOTE!

  6. Please note that Todd uses the word, "resurrect" to describe McCain's campaign at this point.

One can only resurrect something that has already died.

In lieu of flowers, make a contribution to the "Palin 2012" committee.

  7. Was unable to vote straight ticket here in Colorado, would have liked to have seen that offered. The wait was just an hour and a half and the vote itself took less than 10 minutes in early voting on Thursday. I was really impressed by the turnout and am hopeful for this election.
On the off chance that Obama has this one stolen from him (as I'm still convinced the last 2 were from the Dems), I'm just wondering whether eastern or western Canada is a better place to settle?
