Mike? You Alright Pal? No You're Not. Wow.

MSNBC's weather guy Mike Seidel took a nasty spill at Lambeau Field during the recent spell of wintry weather that covered the nation and it was all caught on camera. And of course it's a strange and slightly sick part of human nature that gets a twinge of amusement seeing someone fall on their ass.
If that offends you, then you shouldn't watch the video, AFTER THE JUMP...
I think Seidel may have taken 'fall and moan' lessons from the grape stomping lady, who is still perhaps the most famous YouTube spill-taker of all time.

I am a total bastard for laughing as hard as I did to the moans of the grape stomping lady. I hope she was ok!

I LOVE the grape lady. The banter after she falls is PRICELESS.
In terms of news people falling on their ass, I think this one is more entertaining: http://failblog.org/2008/12/29/moving-fail-2/

I feel not a whit of sympathy for these moronic weathermen who go out in middle of hurricanes, floods and other hazardous conditions for no other reason than network ratings. What purpose does it serve when they could easily show the hazards on a blue screen safely in the studio? They deserve whatever they get for their stupidity.
I did feel sorry for the grape lady though.

The grape lady was okay, and she works at another TV station now. She just had the wind knocked out of her. . But it sure looked bad.

I know of two people who slipped on the ice two Sundays ago and broke ribs. One of them was me and the other was my bosses brother-in-law. It definitely sucks.
