Steve Jobs Reflects on Mortality

Remembering that you are going to die is the best way I know to avoid the trap of thinking you have something to lose. You are already naked. There is no reason not to follow your heart."

from a commencement address Steve Jobs gave at Stanford University on June 14, 2005, as he was recovering from surgery to remove cancer from his pancreas.

Yesterday, as you may have heard, Jobs took a leave of absence from Apple after learning that recent health issues were "more complex" than originally thought.

  2. Regarding the drop in the stocks today...The reason why people worry so much about the stock market and their retirement plans is because of all the stupid lemmings (Wall Street traders)jumping off of the Apple Cliff!

    Tell your Wall Street friends to stop acting like stupid frat boys, buying and selling just to get their commissions. They aren't helping the average investor and tell them to stop acting like stupid HS girls with a rumor and speculating that there won't be an Apple after Steve Jobs. And don't give Wall Street Traders credit for being so stupid. Any good company will have hired competent, innovative, leader-type people who can succeed.

  4. My uncle recently died from a recurrence of Pancreatic cancer.. after having had successful surgery to remove it 6 years ago. Its a killer.. and when it comes back, it comes back with a vengeance.. and almost undiscoverable the 2nd time around until its too late. He wont have long if its back...

  5. Since when did unprocessed,manufactured RAW food become unhealthy Carl and FF? Maybe,just maybe the RAW FOOD actually allowed him to live longer? Read a few David Wolfe books and get a clue.
