Röyksopp Defends Against Space Invaders: 'Happy Up Here'

I was happy to hear that Norwegian electronic duo Röyksopp is coming out with a new album, called Junior. Here's the clip for the first single, called "Happy Up Here". It's directed by Reuben Sutherland.

Watch it, AFTER THE JUMP...

  2. Thanks for posting this video, Andy. The visuals are great and the song is very catchy. KCRW has been playing it here in L.A. for the past couple of weeks. I've had their last cd, "The Understanding," on heavy rotation since it came out a few years ago. Can't wait for the new one!

  7. mheh. if it had decent lyrics i may be interested...

ugh. actually. I like some music that has keyboards and other electronica, like MGMT, but it's accompanied with good lyrics and lyricists...

  9. The video is absolutely fantastic; the song, however, does nothing for me.

  10. Why do some continually use the phrase "Meh"?

Sounds stupid, and it will NEVER catch on no matter how you try.

  13. "Why do some continually use the phrase "Meh"?

Meh. I say it because it fits. And caught on? The word is as old as time.

  15. Sounds just like Eple - which is the song that got me hooked on the Röyksopp boys.

Love this, love the execution of it...just wish I didn't have to wait for weeks to DL this album off iTunes.
