Ryan Reynolds Thinking About Going Gay for Robert Pattinson
Ryan Reynolds joked with MTV that he enjoyed shooting the movie Adventureland with Twilight's Kristen Stewart because it brought him one step closer to Vamp-of-the-moment Robert Pattinson.
Said Reynolds: "Oh my God. Are you kidding me? Robert Pattinson? In a word? Dreamy....Look, I'm not gay, but I'm thinkin' about it."

How was it false? Separate studies basically confirmed many of his findings, and sustained the kinsey scale as an accurate tool still used to diagnose sexual orientation.
And no, personal anecdotes count for absolutely nothing. It is the most worthless kind of evidence.

And Kinsey was not suggesting that sexuality was "fluid". The Kinsey scale allows for no such understanding of sexual orientation.

if we are dismissing empirical evidence, then we may as well throw research out the window, not unlike throwing out the baby with the bath water. the kinsey six point scale suggested that their was a continuum from 100% homosexuality to 100% heterosexuality. what's more, he took into account the psycic homosexuality that many straight men will never act upon.

Evidence isn't "empirical" if it was collected unscientifically. You know, I am FAR FROM the first person to call out Kinsey. He's been discounted for YEARS. Again, where have you all been? LOOK IT UP, if you're so busy reading research journals every day.

Lol, using the word "craven" doesn't make you intelligent, and no, I am not vanquished, or wrong. Telling you to actually go and research an issue if you don't believe me isn't lazy. It is obvious you don't believe anything I say (and FYI, I said a lot more than "we all know," so don't even), so I told you to actually look up some of the issues I brought up. If real professionals in trade journals cannot convince you, well, I guess you're just some renegade scientific genius.

@Mike: Rentboy has not even been around that long. Ryan has been successful longer than Rentboy has existed. He was never a rentboy. Even if as a fantasy that excites you it didn't happen.

BTW I really admire James Franco, I like his brother too, I just don't find him attractive. It's those baby teeth that stand out in my mind as unappealing, but he is a great versatile actor.
Pattison is just dirty. A British accent can make up for much, but not that much ick.

Address how independent studies testing Kinsey's claims have vindicated them, then. Are they, too, unscientific? I don't see the kinsey scale as being discredited. You sound like one of those angry bisexuals.

Craven means "defeated" as well, which, quite frankly, worked as a better definition in the context of your statement. Using "legitimate vocabulary" is ok until it replaces reasoned arguments.

SecretAgentMan: No I'm not mistaken. I am One Hundred Percent certain that Ryan Reynolds has graced the webpages of Rentboy (under a different name, of course). It's actually not at all a well kept secret. Ryan was quite "popular" with certain men in Hollywood. I have no idea how much cash Ryan earned growing up, or why he decided to go "gay for pay." Maybe it was cover for the fact that he is, in fact, actually "gay". (Gasp!) Taking money for doing what most gay men do for free gives one plausible deniability as to why they engage in certain behaviors. Maybe Ryan didn't NEED to sell his ass. Maybe he simply enjoyed being serviced by men who paid him for the privilege? Who knows? He would hardly be the first good looking pretty boy in Hollywood to peddle his ass. But one thing I DO KNOW FOR A FACT is that our boy Ryan is AT LEAST "bi". Ryan wouldn't seriously try to contest that fact. There are simply too many men out there who can confirm it.
