Carrie Prejean Opposes Gay Marriage But Parties with Transsexuals

Carrieprejeanamandalepore

Miss California Carrie Prejean and New York nightlife icon Amanda Lepore party it up, via US magazine.

Over the weekend, Prejean said that her state sponsors "urged her to apologize" for saying same-sex couples shouldn't be allowed to marry but she refused.

"Prejean, 21, said officials from the Miss California USA pageant were worried that her comments would cost their contest financial backing and tried to prepare her for a string of post-pageant media interviews by discouraging her from discussing her religious beliefs. ''You need to apologize to the gay community. You need to not talk about your faith. This has everything to do with you representing California and saving the brand,'' Prejean recalled being told. 'I was representing California. I was representing the majority of people in California.' She offered her version of the tense hours following the April 19 Miss USA pageant while appearing at the San Diego megachurch that has helped shape her views."

She received a hero's welcome there.

Lewis Keith Lewis, producer of the Miss USA Pageant, released a statement: "Given the fact that Carrie Prejean's first act upon returning to California was to headline five services at a church that promotes homosexuality as both unnatural and abnormal, we stand by our concern for her individual image and look forward to a time in the near future when she can put down her personal agenda and assume the responsibilities associated with being Miss California USA including promoting our official platform 'The Beauty of California' which sole purpose is to embrace diversity."

It should be noted that Lewis also served as executive producer on For the Bible Tells Me So, the award-winning documentary about the divide between gays and Christianity, about people of faith and their gay children.

  1. I love it!
We're ok to party with, but not equal under the law.

This just put the hugest smile on my face, i think this ugly usa contestant is at the 14 minute mark of her fame.

    Goodbye Miss Prejean!!!!!!!

  2. Oh dear. What are all of her bible thumping gay hating friends going to say now???

Looks like she lost her bid to be on the 700 Club now!

  5. She may be just dumb enough to think that Amanda is a real woman who has had "enhancement" surgeries.

  6. she is obviously not that smart or educated. she is just repeating what her parents and church told her. Do we normally associate beauty pageants and critical reasoning?

    in other words...
    dumb bitch.

  7. She's a smokin' hottie, though, even though she is in training to be a Nazi trophy wife, and has an IQ of 30. You know what's funny—the Miss USA pageant attire is as over-the-top and desexualizing as drag. So basically, Prejean herself is a drag queen. But in normal clothes, rockin' it out with Miss Tranny Lepore, Prejean looks every bit the hot New York babe.

Sadly, though (or maybe thankfully) ugliness on the inside will always trump outer beauty.

  8. I think Lews and the Pageant are making a big mistake. Their system elevated this chickipoo to the role of Miss CA and it's her 1st Amendment Right to speak her mind and her faith.

Let the world see her obnoxious views for what they are and she will crash and burn. Let her be challenged in public as Xians rarely are.

  10. Enough of this person. No one is surprised that beauty queens give dumb answers in the Question round.

  11. DAMN, is this the new Sarah Palin?
just like sarah i say "WHO CARES? NEXT"

she is just like sarah, the media is ALWAYS talking about them so we can read and then comment on them hence increasing traffic. WTF I am going what they want DAMN, you got me again. I say GIVE IT A REST.

  12. So, she's a liar and a defamer. How Palinesque of her brand of X-tian virtue. And how sad she represents California. Whatever happened to the California of my youth -- progressive leader, laid-back, and positive. We've become a leader in gangs, hate speech/behavior and low on the totem with regards to education (once our shining star). The ugliness of Republican influence--how Texas under Bush of us. Will she lose her crown over this defamation?

  13. Dear Ms. Prejizz,

Enjoy your next promotional video for Back Door Donkey Dick Gangbang, because you're one step away from a curbside cooze shot. I hope you enjoy your newfound infamy and misfortune! I know I will...

    Sincerely,
Fuck you up your left nostril with a meat cleaver!

  14. Woodroad, she won't lose her crown. That would be exposing the Miss California USA organization to a possible lawsuit and more of this crap. Besides, in the end, this whole system is run by Donald Trump. He loves the controversy this whole matter is bringing to his pageant, but wouldn't want to deal with the liability. It's fine if gay people--the backbone of the pageant system--get trampled on, but at least he's getting publicity.

  15. Amanda Lepore should just slap some sense into that girl. And don't think she couldn't.

  17. I smell Keynote Speaker at the next GOP convention!!!!!

    Posted by: Rad | Apr 28, 2009 2:58:11 PM

  18. Ya know, when this incident broke out, I had sympathy for the girl. She looked like on stage she didnt want to really offend but wanted to be truthful. She did state her feelings eloquently or knowledgeably. But since then she lowered herself to the level or Perez Hilton and has decided to politicize her feelings in a very public way. My feelings have totally flipped from being on her side and I think a lot of people who are following and felt like I did, will react in the same way. She's digging herself down in deep trenches by taking an ANITA BRYANT platform.

  19. Yo CDC... I found where the swine flu outbreak originated... now quarantine this bitch or else I'll put her out of her misery.

    Posted by: Phil M. | Apr 28, 2009 3:11:13 PM

  20. Yeah, forcing her to apologize, or ripping the plastic tiara from her hands, are not good ideas. As dumb a bitch as she is, this is America, and we do have to play by the rules.

In other words: don't take her shovel now, she's doing a fine job digging.

  21. We need to get a list of sponsors & supporters for Miss California USA, and begin calling/writing them to urge them to pull their support. We might even want to consider boycotts of businesses who continue to fund Miss California USA for as long as Ms Prejean holds the title.

  22. Funny, she reminds me of OBAMA. Same position on gay marriage...likes to hang with the gays for show.

It's amazing how in denial you people really are about who you elected. But it's always more fun to tear women up anyhow, so go back to what you little misogynists do around here.

    Prejean = Obama

  23. Pedophiles should have their rights too. Remember NAMBLA (North American Man-Boy Love Association). Anyone should have the right to marry.

  24. To all who are defending her 'freedom of speach' I wonder, as under contract as Miss California, if she really does have carte blanche so say what ever she wants... Doubtful.

    Posted by: Mr. E | Apr 28, 2009 4:17:31 PM

  25. Umm Carl, you do mean consenting adults when you say anyone right?

    I certainly hope so.
