We Were Already 'Feeling Good' But Lambert Made Us Feel Better
What song could be more appropriate to cap a day in which the House passed a hate crimes bill and New Hampshire passed a marriage equality bill than "Feeling Good"?
And since we haven't had our weekly dose of Lambert, here he is from last night,
AFTER THE JUMP...

Adam is awesome... very talented and definitely in line to win the competition. The first time I have been really interested one of the Idol singers to this extent. This guy can really sing and has amazing stage presence!! There are a couple of others, especially Allison, who are also really amazing... a number of careers will be launched after this finale!
Go Adam, it's you all the way!

That last note he hit was mind-boggling.

I totally agree! As a theater person myself, I think he has great stage presence and a voice that is strong and amazing. Loved that performance.

Adam is fantastic!
Here's to Adam -- may he have everything that's good.

Adam will win AI. And if he doesn't, he still wins.

The others may be participating in some sort of competition or whatever but this is in fact the Adam Lambert Show.

I'd still take Kris over Adam any day.

ugh. adam is incredibly annoying and cannot reign himself in.
i dont know about you all, but i certainly couldnt stand to buy a cd chock full of caterwauling.
tina turner + axl rose == adam lambert
BUT HOW DREAMY IS KRIS?

Two things:
First, I'm an ass for saying it, since I could drop a good 10 pounds, but then again, I don't make my living off my body or image, but Adam needs to drop some weight. Skinny jeans make him look pear shaped.
Second, I found two demos online that Adam did (Kiss and Tell, Pop goes the camera) and they are both catchy pop/dance songs without any axl rosing.

Danny Gokey has the best voice. Too bad he's a dorkey looking evangelical christian.

Kris Allen IS dreamy and hot. I was screaming like all those girls in the front row while he was singing "The Way You Look Tonight" in his fitted "ratpack-style" suit.

Not for a second did I believe Lambert was going to be bounced off tonight. The producers of AI wanted to create some drama when it was obvious that Adam (the Timberlake clone) was toast.
Posted by: Mark | Apr 29, 2009 10:09:59 PM
Sorry... I meant to say Matt (the Timberlake clone.)

QJersey, I don't think Adam needs to lose a single pound. How ridiculous. He's handsome and looks just great as he is now.

That ending gave me goose bumps last night. AMAZING.

Just when I think Adam can't top his last performance, he tops his last performance.
Yes Chris is the cutest, but Adam amazes me with his talent. This season is Idol's best ever.

Bottom two? WTF?
Posted by: notshychirev | Apr 30, 2009 12:08:05 AM
Overrated. And he should acknowledge that even if this isn't the Muse cover, it was inspired by it.
Posted by: Glenn | Apr 30, 2009 1:22:14 AM
Yeah....so he can sing. Why does anyone on this planet give this 'show' a bit of attention?! There are Millions of people out there who can sing...just because a bunch of greedy producers want to make a buck and manipulate the public (and the 'performers') doesn't make this 'entertainment' or even worth my time!
Get a (REAL) life!!
^^X^^

Him making it to the bottom two this evening can best be summed up with one word....HOMOPHOBIA!
You're trying to tell me that Kris guy (who is nothing more than a showboat, with awkward facial expressions; i.e excessive lip licking) and the other two, who I can't even recall...out performed Adam?
I call it as I see it, and will be the first to admit I'm a major Adam supporter but also the first to admit when he trips over. Last night, he didn't trip, and he didn't skip a beat. He was INCREDIBLE, powerful and most important of all (which the other remaining finalsts seem the lack)...he was *DYNAMIC*
Side note, can someone...ANYONE....please, please, please clarify what it is about Danny Gokey I'm missing? No, honestly. What redeeming qualities does that awkward appearing guy have? It's surely not originality considering by his own admission HE HAD TO WATCH BACK ADAM'S PERFORMANCES AND APPLY IT TO HIS OWN PERFORMANCE (ok, so he didn't say Adam, but do you think he was reffering to Anoop?) If this Danny kid wins this title, he will follow in the footsteps of Taylor Hicks. And that's all I'm saying about that!

Whoever said Adam needs to drop some pounds is completely and utterly stupid and/or blind.
Look, I'm not a fan of his "look" at all (I'm not into really pretty boys), but as far as vocal talent goes, this guy either wins this competition or wins it anyway.
Posted by: JD | Apr 30, 2009 4:07:39 AM
ps Bayley. America can definitely relate more to Danny Gokey than Adam Lambert. But I mean, we're talking about American Idol, here. The whole spectacle is a joke most of the time.

Adam Lambert was great last night! I can not belive he came in second to last. You may think his performace was the best and you do not have to vote for him but if you like him VOTE VOTE VOTE! Please!

Nina Simone must be spinning in her grave after that performance.
