Now look, I’m all for gays adopting but let’s not mistake it for being nearly as good as a mother and a father. It’s not nearly as good as a mommy and a daddy… all things being equal, it is much better for a mother and a father to raise a child than it is two of anything, all things being equal."

roadShanna Moakler just couldn't stand behind Carrie Prejean's lies: "The turning point for me, I guess, was when I was watching the Today show and she was sitting there continuing to lie. And it's obvious to everybody that the lying is still going on. I just couldn't stand behind her. I wasn't going to New York with this vendetta against her and hoping that she would be decrowned. But I was hoping that she would, at one point in time, stop pointing fingers at everyone in the world and take a little bit of accountability or a little bit of responsibility for herself."

  1. Adam Carolla is a dick, you could hear the hateful disgust in his voice.

Why the hell does he 'support' gay adoption if he's so adamant about the superiority of a 'mommy and daddy' anyways?

I'd hate to be one of his kids. I'd rather have a cool gay dad than an obnoxious and annoying straight one, like him.

  2. Funny, I've heard Adam Carolla's parents were neglectful, which, he has cited, is the reason he's such an overbloated douchebag.

Ok, maybe he didn't cite it that way, but "all things being equal", its much easier to be bitter about parents when one is a bitter teenager trapped inside a gargantuan troll-like body.

  4. This is the second issue of GQ with photoshopped heads on someone elses body. Last month it was Zac Efron and his head is twice the size of his body in almost every pic, now it looks like they've done the same thing to Chris Pine. What a joke...

  5. Adam Carolla's comments point to the root of anti-gay bigotry, heterosexual defined gender roles. Heterosexuals believe that women are incapable of raising boys to be men (dominant and all) and that without a father girls will not learn how to submit to a man.

  6. Ok what's the deal with the Jonas brat? A purity ring and soft core gay porn pic?

    Nice pit hair however.

  7. Yeah, having 'opposite' married parents really kept me on the straight and narrow. What's obvious about Adam's comments is the lack of knowledge--so cliche among het bigots who talk out of their asses. Several studies have shown that the children of gay parents tend to be as--or better--adjusted than het parents. Mr. Corolla if your mother and father were so good, how come you turned out so crappy--and a bad dancer, to boot.

  8. Is it just me or does Joe Jonas barely resemble his slightly fugly brothers? I just wonder if his mom had a one off with some Argentine footballer... or at least their gardener.

  9. Years ago, I worked as a publicist and took my client to Adam Carolla's radio show. He was proudly homophobic, and blatantly antagonistic to me, a gay man. If I saw him now, I'd punch that asshole in the face.

  10. Oh, and one other thing. Carolla's "Man Show" co-host, Jimmy Kimmell, is known as a friend of the gays. His career has skyrocketed, while Carolla's has languished. Karma--never disappoints.

  11. I had thought Adam Carolla was cool. But after hearing his inane diatribe, he officially goes into the "I'm a major douche bag" category.

So because his kid is talking about a mommy and daddy elephant, that makes straight parents inherently better? What kind of bullshit is that? Of course his kid is going to see and hear all about mommies and daddies. The entire fucking world promotes heterosexuality 99% of the time. What does that prove? 50% of these perfect mommy and daddy combinations is going to end in divorce. So much for his perfect hetero utopia.

  13. Jesus fuck, I just lost absolutely 100% of all the respect I ever had for Adam Carolla. I'm absolutely floored, and not because of this clip alone. Listen to the last 20 minutes of this podcast he did a few days ago on his show http://www.podtrac.com/PodtracPlayer/podtracplayer.aspx?podcast=http://cioffi.cachefly.net/acp.xml (click on 2009.05.08 Bonus! Adam......). He throws an absolute shit fit about "stupid liberals" and communism whilst peppering his tirade, entirely seriously mind you, with things like "fuckin' faggots" and "pussy fags". Unbefuckinglevable! I always thought that HE was the smarter, kinder half of tings like Loveline and the Man Show (even though that show was shit) I haven't listened to him in years but, wow, maybe he's a crank addict or something is all I can imagine, 'cause he's an absolute douchebag now. Also, let me just give a good hearty go fuck yourself to "Doctor" Drew Pinsky, who in the clip above, proves to be his usual spineless twat of a mediawhoring piece of pigshit. He says NOTHING while Carolla spouts his bullshit and even CHIMES IN with a mocking "oooh but you're a bigot if you say anything against them" asshatery. totally useless fuckwads the both of them.

  14. Andy,

I'd never mistake you for a reporter, nor do I think you are claiming to be one by posting things under the heading of "news." But, honestly, is it too much to expect a little integrity when you use that word?

You begin your purported news round-up with an item that is really nothing but unsubstantiated allegations.

"He said it didn't "ring a bell" that in one speech he'd warned that the state might one day have a lesbian -- he was referring to state Rep. Kathy Webb -- in charge of the state budget, as a Republican observer has passed along."

Just who is this unnamed Republican and what exactly did he remember hearing? We don't know because Leslie Newell Peacock didn't tell us. And I doubt Peacock has any inclination to tell us (assuming Peacock actually knows) because Peacock is a partisan hack:

"We got Republicans sneering at Jews and Republicans offended by gays. Where to turn? To the Democrats!"

Really? What Peacock has is one Republican who referred to Charles Schumer as "that Jew," and one Republican who apparently thinks gay politicians should remain in the closet. That's a real cabal of anti-Jewish and anti-homosexual sentiment in Arkansas' GOP that Peacock has discovered! (But what about Peacock's unnamed Republican informant?)

What do you bet it wouldn't be too difficult to find two Democrat politicians in Arkansas saying equally embarrassing things? No matter. Peacock has informed us that the Dems are the way, the truth, and the light! Alleluia!

The end of you round-up is no better.

So Shanna Moakler couldn't stand Carrie Prejean's lies anymore, eh? We know that Prejean did nothing but lie, uh, how exactly? Why, because Moakler told us! And what evidence does Moakler have to back up her assertions:

""In the room with Donald, he did say, 'If she continues to breach her contract, I'll fire her.' He did say that in the room, and I believe him 100 percent."

Of course Moakler can present now evidence for the reporter that Trump said any such thing. (I'm not saying he didn't; I'm just saying we only have Moakler's word.) So again we have mere allegations presented as actual news.

The only reason you continue to post about Prejean -- thereby continuing her 15 minutes of fame -- is because you don't like her answer to Perez Hilton's question. Get over it.

If you can't act like an adult, Andy, I'd suggest sticking to items like the Joe Jonas and Chris Pine 'stories.'

  18. Always so angry and annoyed with Andy, David C, for not running his blog in a way you approve of, yet you keep coming back for more and repeating your rants. Probably safer for you to stick with the friends at FOX news; their journalistic integrity is probably more up your alley.

    Posted by: Ernie | May 16, 2009 3:52:19 PM

  19. Since everything else has basically been said, I'm just going to say:

I think the best part of Adam Carolla's rant was his saying over and over "Where did these people (who believe gay adoption isn't harmful to children)learn to debate from? Where did those fucking morons learn to debate?!" and then he proceeds to back up his point ENTIRELY on the brilliant insights of his FOUR-YEAR-OLD CHILDREN. I think that pretty much says it, doesn't it?

    Posted by: gc | May 17, 2009 2:27:05 AM

  20. Oh wait, my mistake. I just looked at Adam Carolla's wikipedia. His children are two-years-old. And the fact that he believes that their assigning genders to elephants in a zoo - considering that all those children could possibly know about relationships is that of their parents - the fact that he believes that heterosexual parenting is better because his two-year-olds pointed at elephants and anthropomorphically gave them the titles of "mommy and daddy"...

Where did you learn to debate, indeed.

    Posted by: gc | May 17, 2009 2:32:29 AM

  21. Adam Corolla shouldn't be taken seriously, EVER. What he said was very bad, sure, but in the end it was him 'ranting' doing what got him popular in the first place, particularly not being PC. In general I think he's ranting on being PC towards stuff and really was probably comparing his 'source' for a debate to who he was ranting about.
