On the Obama story, I've been reading the stance that the protesters were largely the minority and that most of the attendees wanted Obama there.

The obama speech was amazing, and the opppsition to his speech was made of mostly non-catholic anti-choice activists who don't even attend the school.
As usual the MSM made a big deal out of nothing.

All polls of american catholics show barely more than 1/4 were upset about the Notre Dame invite
Coincidently a little more than 1/4 is around that same percentage 27-29% who still to this day think Bush was a great pressident and Iraq invaded us on 9/11. It is also very close to the 1 out of 4 Newsweek poll last year who think space deity jeeebus will float down from the sky within their life times and land on earth
A definite minority. A definite CRAZY minority and way too vocal.

Uh, Andy, you might want to listen to that Axelrod clip again. They were not talking about the name of the dog/pet, but the pet itself. Miss California, Axelrod said in jest, was one of three options for the pet, with one of the others being the Portuguese Water Dog.

They loved Obama at Notre Dame. But I felt bad for him having to stand there in that robe while they put that hat on him. I know it was supposed to be an honor, but I'd feel so dorky.

Because women are subservient dogs, don't you get it? So clever!
Just further confirmation that Obama and most of his hangers-on are misogynistic piles of shit.

Well, I think Axelrod was referring to what a bitch Miz Carrie is. Still I like the comment about losing the "carelessly topless demographic"--double zing!

Why do I get the feeling these game designers are probably smoking some of the good $#!T during their brainstorm sessions?

Like Woodroad34, I did wonder if the "Miss California" comment was somehow an allusion to the word "bitch" -- but I'm not sure. I wonder if it wasn't just an awkward and not thought out attempt at humor. While the "carelessly topless demographic" comment by the interviewer was an umambiguous slam. (Yay!)
A commenter at YouTube has left some depressingly hate-filled comments. Sometimes I wonder if the anonymity in those situations in a good thing.
