Ricky Martin: I Have Never Talked About Who My Heart Belongs To
Last week, Puerto Rican magazine TV Aqui published a tease on its cover and a Tweet claiming that Ricky Martin told them his heart could belong to a man or woman. That was just a lie intended to sell magazines, apparently (shock).
Said Mike Szysmanski of the Examiner: "I went directly to Saudy [Rivera, the editor of TV Aqui], who is based in Puerto Rico, and asked if
Ricky used the B-word. 'No, he didn't say that,' she replied to me. 'What he said was: 'The heart of Ricky Martin... if it belongs to a
male or a female... I have never talked about it.'"
So, it appears that cover tease is just what it was. A tease.
And Andrés Duque of Blabbeando translated a video of the actual interview with Martin. Here it is:
"Eh, the heart of Rocky Martin? Look, whether it has or doesn't have a male owner or a female owner, I have never spoken about that topic, so don't..."
But Duque also pointed out that in the same issue the magazine ran a poll implying that if Martin is gay, he is less of a man because of it. Shame.
Watch the video, AFTER THE JUMP...
Of course, those of you with broken hearts can perhaps find a little comfort HERE.

Wow, I'm finding myself not caring one bit anymore about Ricky Martin's sexual orientation!

Just admit it! Damn it! We all know.
Ugh!

Ricky Martin is NOT gay... he is certainly spineless and full of shame and most certainly sucks dick... but with zero pride he is certainly not gay, and without doubt undeserving of our acceptance.
With all the success and finances as foundation, there is no reason for him to continue this endless charade as long as he has.

Hey Ricky, rip the goddamned band-aid off already! This whole issue is so mind-numbingly boring, but it's also painful to watch it dragged out for twelve years.
Get it the fuck over with. You just seem pathetic now...and obvioulsy the game you're playing is NOT helping what used to be your career.

He's not less of a man for being gay, but he's less of a man for not acknowledging it.

Admit it you tool! The worst thing a gay person can do is marry a straight person and live a lie and destroy lives all around them including themselves. I would bet the farm that this tool will soon be doing this just so he doesn't have to come out. Coward!!

it's becoming more obvious that the celebrities who everyone assumes are gay (ellen, neil patrick harris) have a better chance of maintaining their success if they come out of the closet.
if they don't or are forced out by something embarrassing (like an arrest) i think it embarrasses the public (without them even realizing that it's the shame of hiding that is what's making them uncomfortable and not the gayness).
my theory at least ;)

Ricky es muy estupido.

Don't care so much 'who his heart belongs to'...pretty sure his d*ck belongs to his hot male stud companion du jour.
Seriously, come out already...you're barely famous anymore...your kids should have an out, courageous, honest parent they can look up to as a role model they grow up.

Well, if he has a boyfriend he must be pretty ashamed of Ricky's cowardice. I would be.

Nathaniel, straights assume everyone is straight unless they are as flaming as Richard Simmons. Most of them were surprised by Ellen and NPH.
Ellen's career was damaged after she came out and it was down the toilet for years.
NPH WAS forced out by a combination of Perez and his PR person announcing he was straight in response without consulting him so he didn't have the choice to do the Jodie Foster "no denial no acknowledgement" thing. What helped his career was that he was already cast on a show and he went out and demonstrated an intelligent likable personality. It also helped that he is in a stable monogamous relationship of the kind the public approves of instead of involved in something they disapprove of like promiscuous sex and getting caught in toilet stings.
I think what helps a career survive after coming out is if you are likable and have talent, you don't transform yourself into someone the public no longer recognizes or do things to become totally tiresome to the public, not being already washed up when you came out so there is nothing to "survive", and being in committed monogamous relationships that the public find cute.

Why do any of you care about his sexual orientation? Worry about your own lives people......

Seriously? They took a poll asking, If Ricky Martin were gay, would that make him less of a man?
The response is shameful, but the question is equally so.

My heart belongs to daddy.

What difference does it make if he's gay or straight, it more important if he's a good person. Why don't people just leave him alone. What he prefers is his own business. So, forget it and get a life.

Yes , he is gay! Next time you see him ask him about "Ca... Go"(first two letter of the name), a Puertorican Broker, he live in Puerto Rico and fly every weekend to Miami to be by Ricky and twin side. He walk with Ricky posting like he is one of the team of work. See if he denil that!.
