Bill O'Reilly Discovers 2006 'Weatherman vs. Cockroach' Video
It's three years old and already been seen by 1.5 million people, but it is an opportunity to mock an effeminate black man using a high pitched voice, so Bill will use it to demonstrate how butch (and behind-the-times) he is!

Oh C'mon!
This was SERIOUSLY funny! Are we really unable to laugh at ourselves?

When it's Bill O'Reilly laughing at us, then it becomes a problem.

I hope Bill O'Reilly gets squashed like a bug. His bigotry needs to end.

That's how I'd react if I saw Bill-O climbing on my leg.

Seriously? I mean, fault Bill O'Reilly for his pig-headed politics, but in this case he just laughed the way we all laughed at that clip. And when he did the voice, he was specifically imitating the voice in the video, not a voice plucked out of thin-air to mock gay people. I think we have to pick our battles, and this isn't one of them.

Stop defending Bill O'Reilly, he's human slime and your enemy.

Oh, I see; I gather from the approving comments on here that if I saw a person of another race or culture react to something that I found funny as a white man, it is not politcally correct and well accepted for me to drop into a step and fetchit voice or an immitation of maybe an Asian person to mock them? Fine, have a laugh at the reaction, but a straight guy adopting the exagerated version of a lispy voice of a gay man, no matter how close that imitation might approximate the individual in question, is flat out offensive--particularly when it comes from a personality that has proven to be unfriendly to gays. It is one thing for a black man to play to a black stereotype, but quite another thing for a white man to do that, a white man who has not earned the right to do so through the years of pain that such a stereotype has been established through. The same thing goes for the notion of a gay man adopting the stereotypical portrayal of a gay guy or calling another gay guy "girlfriend." It is just very different when done by a straight man who is not laughing with us, but at us through such a portrayal.
Come on, guys, get a clue.

I think the last part of O'Reilly's reaction was quite illuminating. It's the sort of playground mockery we saw from David Letterman in the 80's, but seldom see on TV these days. O'Reilly is indeed behind the times.

Oh please... If my friends and I were out at a club and this queen started screaming because of a bug... we would make fun of him/her too! It seems as the younger generation are a bunch of big bag carrying queens!

crazy!

I have laughed at that video myself, but when I do, it's with affection. I love that he went so over the top when the roach started crawling up his leg. I've done the same myself. We can laugh at ourselves and it's healthy. But O'Reilly is doing something entirely different. He's making fun of someone and demeaning him. It's unworthy. It's ignoble. It's bad manners. But I'll give him credit for acknowledging the fact that Fox Studios is crawling with cockroaches.

LOL You assholes can't even see what bill is really doing. He's not laughing along with you...he's laughing AT YOU.
MacMike puts it perfectly. get a clue, queens!
