Karl Lagerfeld is really a sad man (having his bodyguard wear a shirt with Karl's name on it, as though no one is going to notice that freakish clown?), but the story of the Aral Sea is even sadder. Though I don't understand how the World Bank is able to fund a dam project, since it imposed a moratorium on them in the early 90s for very good reasons.

  2. That's great about the Shepard act, but just to be clear-- HRC doesn't provide a link on their claims it's coming up for a vote this week. They're talking about the defense authorization amendment, right?
