  1. I wish each and every member of the Judiciary committee would just get on with the questioning already. I want to hear Judge Sotomayor, not their personal feelings and stories.

  2. When did empathy become a bad thing? I heard one of the slimeballs lump empathy in with prejudice. Really? And the pundit on CNN who just totally mischaracterized the issue as the difference between "I feel bad for you so I will rule in your favor" vs "I feel your pain but the law is the law." How about empathy as regard for the real-world consequences of laws on real people and the need to keep law, a concept created by man to HELP man, accountable to the people it was created to serve. Ideology that harms real people is not useful.

  3. Empathy is only bad if a a judicial nominee is put forth by a Democrat. A Republican with empathy? Awesome.

I can't wait to watch the hearings tomorrow. I love the smell and sight of Republicans falling over themselves covered with fail early in the morning and throughout the day.
