This is not a flash mob. This is a carefully orchestrated in person advertisement for Fame the movie. A flash mob is from ordinary people. Ordinary people aren't choreographed and wouldn't be able to know how to do those moves spontaneously. This is not amazing; this is no different from a local dance group deciding to do rehearsals outside on the pier without telling anybody, without announcing it first. They'd be outside instead of inside a dance studio. Not a flash mob! Just another method of advertising corporate movies to the masses. May work, may not. Not necessarily a bad thing. But it's not a flash mob!
