I would never underestimate Palin. Because I would never make the mistake of overestimating Middle America.
She got 46% of the overall vote in 2008. And if you're talking about white males, it was more like 60%.
That's right, folks. If there were no civil rights legislation in 1960s and only white men voted, Miss Alaska would be known as "Madame Vice President" right about now.
