Twilight Fangbangers: Edward Cullen's Home for Sale
Those of you Twilight fans with a cool $3.3 million to drop can buy the Cullen home just outside of Vancouver:
"The five-bedroom home in West Vancouver was designed by Arthur Erickson and was totally renovated in 2001. It has a great room with 20-foot ceilings, massive picture windows and lots of blonde wood. The modern kitchen has a curved fireplace and gleaming countertops. The master suite includes a bathroom with a soaking tub and glass cabinet shower. For warmer weather there is a pool outdoors."
Don't try sleeping in it though.

shame that you've yet again presented garbage on your site. shame, it could be genuinely informative instead of a drop off for any form of advertisement.

@richard: You're a douche. I personally found it an amusing and interesting article. 1) architecture 2) pop culture.

Richard, leave Andy alone. It's not "any form of advertisement". It's a bit of pop culture phenomenon that is very pertinent to youth culture today. If you pay any attention to Towleroad you would know that it's a blog that features an array of topics, even the seemingly trashy and pointless ones. Don't be so snarky.

it's a beautiful house. perhaps a little on the large side but the open design is spectacular.

@RICHARD: this is a blog run by ANDY featuring incredibly important news (such as his award-winning coverage of anti-gay hate crimes) and things of lighter interest to him (i.e. zoology, astronomy) and his grateful readers.. like me. If you don't like it read another blog or start your own.
Back on topic, 3.3 million for West Vancouver in any year in any case is not bad. It is one of the highest end areas on the continent.
I want to see the house with the glass wall view they always used in Battlestar Galactica and Stargate!

I am so completely over mid-century modern. It's so 90's. IMO, Steampunk is more suited to these post-post-modern times exemplified by weathered and pockmarked wooden shelves, cracked and peeling leather chairs, zoology specimens under glass domes and daguerreotypes while imbibing in absinthe or prohibition-era cocktails in an Edwardian waistcoat. It's so McDermott and McGough!

@Richard AND people like Richard...I don't understand why anyone would waste time by commenting negatively about the content on someones blog...you don't find this piece of reporting interesting? I did. It's not called THE WAY RICHARD SEES IT, go start that and let other bitchy people knock what YOU choose to write about, leave Andy alone.
