Transgender Student Slashed at Cal State Long Beach

Police at Cal State Long Beach are searching for a suspect who slashed a transgender student there, the Long Beach Press Telegram reports:

Suspect"The 27-year-old victim was taken to a local hospital by a university instructor, but his injuries were not life threatening, and he was released that evening, said CSULB Spokesman Rick Gloady. The suspect is described as a 5-foot-10-inch, thin white male with light complexion and dark hair. He was wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt and dark khaki shorts, Gloady said. The attack happened around 9:30 p.m. The victim was approached by a man inside a restroom on the west side of the KKJZ building. The suspect said a first name and asked the student if he was that person. The student said he was, Gloady said. The suspect pulled the student's T-shirt over the student's head, pushed him into the stall and used a sharp object to slash the student's chest. The suspect then fled the area, Gloady said."

  1. I feel so embarrassed that you are reading this article about this incident in our city. Long Beach's people as well as government has always worked hard to promote LGBT equality. This isolated incident is very unfortunate; I'm sure our half-gay police force will track down this fucker fast.

  2. I also live in Long Beach and find this horrifying. Like Jake said: Our very gay friendly/gay populated police force is very likely to find this fucker and put him a world of hurt.

  3. He verified the victim's name BEFORE he attacked?

Indicates prior knowledge of the Victim and therefore...

    This is a Hate Crime.

  4. I hope that this suspect is caught and I REALLY hope, that no one will commit another egregious injustice by political correctness.

As I recall, also in Long Beach, a young white girl was beaten and attacked by some black thugs on Halloween night several years ago. And in the most cynical and craven decision by the court, said thugs weren't given any jail time for THEIR hate crime.

And it clearly WAS a hate crime.
As is this a hate crime.

I hope and pray too, for the victim's recovery and rightful justice.
