Oil Rig Explodes 80 Miles Off Louisiana Coast

Not again! More here...

"Colclough told CNN there are reports the production platform is still on fire. 'We don't know what caused the rig to catch on fire,' he told CNN, noting the incident is under investigation. Asked about concerns regarding oil leaks or pollution, Colclough said 'there are reports the rig was not actively producing any product, so we don't know if there's any risk of pollution.'"

  2. This is terrible news. I am shocked at those who oppose Obama's moratorium on drilling. Time to switch to renewable, and environmentally-conscious, energy sources.

  3. LOL at all those fools boycotting BP. You showed them!

If you really want to make a difference, get off oil.

  4. I bet they weren't following safety regulations. When will they get that this is not a good idea?

  5. @Andulusian

This was not a drilling rig, hence Obama's moratorium does not apply.
