  2. Thank Gawd, Chrissy O'Donnell didn't win. We might be in for a little witchcraft if she had.

  3. In honor of Christine O'Donnell's defeat, tonight I will be masturbating into a cauldron.

  4. Towleroad Sucks for not only posting viewpoints they agree with on the live blog...this is what they refused to allow to be posted:

Congratulations Speaker John Boehner - Drudge report: TSUNAMI ALERT FOR HOUSE

  7. All, just cause you are all intolerant of other viewpoints, doesn't mean I am...I can appreciate different views, unlike you!

  8. GAYFORGOP - I agree with you when it comes to news outlets, magazines, etc. This blog is just written by Andy (with the occasional guest here and there) and is just Andy's opinion.

  9. Whats the point of a live blog if its censored?! Pretty pathetic to only hear your own viewpoints over and over again......sad.

  10. In a way, I'm glad that Pelosi is no more. When she messed up, saying, "Man, the House sure pulled a Pelosi."

It'll be much more satisfying now, because when Boehner fucks up (and given that the Republicans being voted in have no more plan or ideas on how to move the economy other than "Say No To Obama", he most certainly will fuck up frequently and spectacularly), we'll get to say, "Man, the House sure pulled a Boehner...tee hee!"

  11. @FAGforGOP

Im glad Paladingbat lost.Bigots like him should just fade into oblivion never to be heard from nor seen again.Whats more pathetic are the pathetic hate mongerers who kissed his ass and worshiped that bigot as if he was Jeebus. This is New York Not Texas, losers!

  12. But you see, Pelosi got shit down as Speaker. It's when it gets the Senate when things peter out and die.

    Posted by: sugarrhill | Nov 2, 2010 10:05:31 PM

  13. Rocky..ur a douche! I'm gay, and I have every right to be here and state my viewpoints. If you don't like it, YOU LEAVE!

    Posted by: GayForGOP | Nov 2, 2010 10:12:12 PM

  14. John Boehner looks like the devil incarnate. Something about him doesn't fit right with me.

    Posted by: Jazzy | Nov 2, 2010 10:29:17 PM

  15. Why on earth would you come to a gay blog, congratulating an anti-gay politician on winning, then act all surprised that your opinion isn't welcomed. Geez, you're like a Jew who votes for Hitler wondering why his family isn't tolerant of his differing opinion. Seriously, get a clue.

    Posted by: LiamB | Nov 2, 2010 10:33:28 PM

  16. Why would anyone vote for someone who opposes gay marriage? Oh wait..Obama is against gay marriage....interesting...who did you vote for in 08?

    Posted by: GayForGOP | Nov 2, 2010 10:43:26 PM

  17. The one who didn't think I chose to be gay, or am equal to a pedophile or stupid enough to believe gays would destroy the military. Who did you vote for?

    Posted by: LiamB | Nov 2, 2010 10:48:46 PM

  18. Seriously, you have got to be an absolute moron to think McCain was a better choice. He wasn't even a good choice for a conservative vote. The man denied we were in a recession until an emergency meeting was called, even though analyst had been stating for over a year what was happening.

    Posted by: LiamB | Nov 2, 2010 10:52:00 PM

  19. While it is disappointing, we have to remember who holds the veto pen. His name is President Obama and he does have a (D) next to his name.

The world isn't over. The gay marriage issue is about to be resolved once and for all when it goes to the Supreme Court and they rule in our favor.

  20. russ feingold losing hurts

    Posted by: Larson | Nov 2, 2010 11:02:36 PM

  21. Congrats Sen. Elect Johnson.

    Posted by: GayForGOP | Nov 2, 2010 11:12:37 PM

  22. And so goes any hope of anything being done (gay 'agenda' or not) for the next two years. Republicorp control of the House. Perpetual filibusters in the Senate. Sounds like a recipe for success to me.

    Posted by: Rich | Nov 2, 2010 11:31:35 PM

  23. I doubt John Boehner reads this blog. His gay staffers do, but not the congressman. The Tea Party ran a lot of lousy candidates and lost many races. How about NV?

    Posted by: anon | Nov 2, 2010 11:32:29 PM

  24. Dems had 2 years of COMPLETE control..and they did NOTHING for us....Dems do not care about gays..it is clear! Quit being so beholden to them

    Posted by: GayForGOP | Nov 2, 2010 11:33:03 PM

  25. @ GAYFORGOP: "Dems had two years of complete control" is idiotic and you know it. While the Dems could have done a better job with their majority, Bain-er's constant filibuster of the Senate made a mockery of the constitution. The Senate (like the house) is supposed to operate under a simple majority. The repugs decided that they would use a threatened filibuster like a bully to get their way on everything. Patriotism my ass.
