  1. Was just enjoying this links BUT THEN THE ADVERTISEMENTS ON TOWLEROAD STARTED AUTOPLAYING VIDEO AND SOUND. So, instead of watching of these videos you recommend, I was going from window to window trying to find the one with the obnoxious advertisement autoplaying. It was towleroad! NOT COOL!!!

  2. Well that was a pretty DIVA mentality that Portia di Rossi has going. maybe when I make it big I'll refuse to have women interview me. Lets see how well THAT goes over. She should just deal with it and have Men interview her.

  3. Which nation brought up the resolution to amend the resolution on extrajudicial executions? We need to put a face on this action by associating it with one country. Then we need to start raising awareness about what these nations are doing to their own innocent people. Perhaps it was Saudi Arabia? You know, the country which spawned the murderers of 9/11. Shouldn't be hard to get a bit of useful p.r. on them.

  4. Agree with Steve D- these autoplay ads are obnoxious, annoying, and just now there were TWO GOING AT ONCE! Please try to disable them, block them, or do whatever you have to do to make it stop... please?

  5. Mixner is right that no one should really worry about a Palin or Gingrich presidency, but I think he's also wrong in worrying about Huckabee. The real worry should, and will be, Jeb Bush. The Bush Dynasty is not yet done with its craved desire to destroy this country.

  7. WTF, every time I go on this site there is some audio advertising a carpet stain remover, I cannot shut it off or figure out where it's coming from. It's driving me CRAAAAZY!

  8. I understand that this blog needs to bring in revenue, but the autoplay ads will stop me from coming back. I don't need to be force fed advertising.

  9. Re: Noisy ads: get yourself a Flash blocker. On the Mac you can use ClickToFlash and only play the Flash you want.

  10. Every browser from Firefox to Chrome to Safari has extensions that will allow you to block Flash ads. Seeing as how those ads aren't going away any time soon, it's best to just stop complaining and spend the 2 minutes it will take to find and install a Flashblocker for your browser.

  11. The sub-saharan state of Benin in Africa sponsored the hateful amendment to the extrajudicial executions resolution. This ally of Iran is a nice target for American antipathy, if you ask me.

  12. In the time it took to leave Andy a comment complaining about the noisy ads, you could all have installed a Flash blocker and got rid of the problem yourselves. So much for productivity...

  13. Another country that wants to see gays killed is Jamaica. Given that they advertise for American tourism, they are also an easy target, and should be high on the "do not visit" list for gays.

  19. LIst of countries voting for the amendment removing sexual orientation from the resolution banning extrajudicial, summary or arbitrary executions: Afghanistan, Algeria, Angola, Azerbaijan, Bahamas, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Belize, Benin, Botswana, Brunei Dar-Sala, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cameroon, China, Comoros, Congo, Cote d’Ivoire, Cuba, Democratic People's Republic of Korea, Democratic Republic of Congo, Djibouti, Egypt, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Ghana, Guyana, Haiti, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Jamaica, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Kuwait, Lebanon, Lesotho, Liberia, Libya, Madagascar, Malawi, Malaysia, Maldives, Mali, Morocco, Mozambique, Myanmar, Namibia, Niger, Nigeria, Russian Federation, Rwanda, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and Grenadines, Saudi Arabia, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Somalia, South Africa, Sudan, Suriname, Swaziland, Syrian Arab Republic, Tajikistan, Tunisia, Uganda, United Arab Emirates, United Republic of Tanzania, Uzbekistan, Viet Nam, Yemen, Zambia, Zimbabwe

  20. So, spend your travel dollars carefully. The list posted by Lukee is crammed with Asian (East, South, Central---with India a notable exception), African (both North and Sub-Saharan), Middle Eastern, and Caribbean countries. Big surprise! So visit Europe, Latin America, or pretty much anywhere else you can find that doesn't have official endorsements of hatred. (And note that many countries in the regions above, such as Cambodia and Thailand, aren't on the list...while South Africa, our supposed friend on the continent, is. And some Caribbean countries are much better than others. Consider Cuba's double-talk.)

I don't fear Huckabee. He's the male Palin, with less charm (not that I find her charming). But he may be even dumber than her. Hell, I'd love a double-bill of them for 2012.
