  1. We also lost Actor Harold Gould - Harold Gould should have been right next to Tom Bosley. Mr. Gould was the ORIGINAL Howard Cunningham, in the pilot of HAPPY DAYS, which the Networks turned down at the time - the pilot was then used as part of an episode of Love, American Style. He was in THE STING, played Rhoda Morgentstern's Father on Rhoda and was Rose Nyland's Boyfriend on The Golden Girls...he passed away just weeks before Tom Bosley.

I know this because I played Howard Cunningham in the musical version of HAPPY DAYS. Mr. Gould died when we started rehearsals and Mr. Bosley passed away when we went into Hell Week, the week before opening a play. I had both men's photos on my dressing room wall to keep them both with me as I did the show.

  2. Also Earl Wild, an openly gay concert pianist and arranger who was regularly invited to perform at the White House and toured the United States with Eleanor Roosevelt during WWII.

  3. Where the hell was I when Lynn Redgrave died? That was a bit of a surprise. RIP all of them.
