  2. After our rotten politicans in this country - what a breath of fresh air Mullen is. He has integrity.

This is the beginning of the end of state sponsored discrimination. A huge step for us.

  4. This goes to prove Harvey Milk's statement that it becomes more difficult, if not impossible, for people to hate you and discriminate against you if they get to know you. While there may be some bloody and scary moments along the way, ultimately as the rest of the country gets to know us, our families, and that we are just like them, the more Admiral Mullens we will have on our side.

  8. Joint Chiefs Chair Admiral Mike Mullen is a hero for his words and actions during his 40+years of service. John McCain served his country and deserves credit for that. However, just because he survived being a POW does NOT make him a hero. McCain could NEVER fill the shoes of Admiral Mullen simply because of his lack of leadership and honesty during the repeal of DADT process.
