Watch: CNN Interview with Paul V, Creator of 'Born This Way' Blog

Paulv

In January I posted about Paul V, whose blog, Born This Way, publishes reader-submitted photos and which reveal their earliest gay inclinations. He recently shared his story with CNN.

Watch, AFTER THE JUMP...

In related new, Paul V is neck-and-neck with another blog for Blogger's 'Best Blog' contest. Why not help push him over the top?

  2. Andy, Michael -
I really can not thank you ENOUGH, for being with my blog from the beginning, and truly being part of the first avalanche of attention brought to the blog!

Thank you again, and for this posting as well. My big gay heart is pretty full right now!

We're *this close* to beating the blog about kid recipes!
Not that there's anything *wrong* with that, but...

Winning this would SURE mean alot!
    xo Paul

  4. I realize that this is probably politically incorrect, but I think this project is ultimately more powerful than than the It Gets Better project – not that they should even be compared. However... The purity and innocence that is so vivid in this project is a dimension of gay lives that is totally lost on most people – especially straight people – and will prove, I predict, to be revelatory.

  5. Rascal,
Wow, that's a huge statement of support!

Personally, I want the message of "BTWB" to go hand-in-hand
with It Gets Better - just in a different form.

I think because my blog shows the actual child version of
the gay adult, it adds a different dimension of connection
and support, to a gay kid seeing it now.

I would never want what I'm doing or what IGB is doing,
to be compared as better or worse than the other.

We're ALL in this same fight, to bring about full gay equality
and to END the bullying and END the suicides.

    Best, Paul V.
