Towleroad Guide to the Tube #918

GEORGE TAKEI: Mr. Sulu weighs in on NY's marriage equality victory.

SINKHOLE: Spectators watch (a little too closely imho) as a massive sinkhole swallows a beach in Inskip, Australia.

MICHELLE BACHMANN: Don't know much about history.

SOLSTICE: A lantern festival in Poznan, Poland. May not be too fire safe or environmentally friendly, but it sure looks good.

  2. Get used to Michele Bachmann giving 'lawyer' answers to reasonable questions. She's the epitome of a modern day republycan -- NEVER BE WRONG ABOUT ANYTHING EVER!

  3. Let Bachmann try that answer in 8th grade history and see how far she gets. And then she just piles it on, saying that Adams was a young boy at the time of the revolution--he was 40 when the Declaration of Independence was signed... Journalists and hosts are right to call her on her ignorance, particularly if she agrees to speak with them.

  8. Bachmann was talking about John Quincy Adams who was 9 years old when the Declaration of Independence was signed. That's an awfully young age to be a founding father. That woman is an idiot.
