At Lawrence King Murder Trial, Killer's Iraq War Veteran Brother Testifies That Nazi Materials are His: VIDEO

Brandon McInerney's Iraq war veteran brother Brian testified at the teen killer's trial yesterday that Nazi materials, including an Iron Cross medal and a video called, "Shooting in Realistic Environments" belong to him and not his brother.

Kingmcinerney The Ventura County Star reports:

The prosecution is arguing Brandon was a white supremacist who shot King because he was gay. The defense has argued the various drawings Brandon had of Nazi symbols merely reflected his interest in history.

Brian said some of the doodles found in Brandon's room seem to incorporate historical symbols of swastikas and eagles. But Ventura County Senior Deputy District Attorney Maeve Fox also showed him one that had the swastika with the words "white pride world wide" on it.

Brian also testified that he and Brandon had taken the .22 revolver used in the murder of Lawrence King with them to target practice, according to the Star.

And more today...

Watch a MyFOXLA report which says the jury was very responsive to Brian McInerney's testimony, AFTER THE JUMP...

  1. A degenerate lowlife, just like his child-killer brother.

  2. How outrageous letting him wear his Marines uniform into court. Talk about prejudicial. I have a feeling this kid is going to walk, and it's a crying shame he's getting away with cold blooded murder.

  3. This is an obvious ploy to play to the jury's sense of nationalism and prejudice. I have a feeling that McInerney won't walk but will get a slap and be placed in juvenile detention and allowed out when he's 18.

  4. The kid will walk. The LA DA couldn't even send OJ to jail. On top of it, the jury is likely heavily Hispanic/African American. No justice.

  5. Doesn't matter who owned the material, he still had access to it therefore he was influenced by it. A Nazi in USMC uniform, hope the jury doesn't fall for that ploy.

  6. He wants us to believe that he kept those materials locked up, but not the gun? The brother should be sent to jail for sheer stupidity.

  7. OK

instead of one deranged kid in the family that could be explained off as an anomaly there are 2 deranged kids in the family.

  8. Just goes to show the type of people we have in the army.

  9. This is appalling but transparent. He likely wore the uniform so that they wouldn't go after him for obvious perjury.

A child was shot in a classroom in front of his peers. He won't get off scot free. If that turns out not to be the case, I'll be surprised.

  10. @LAX/JFK - what a complete bunch of crap referring to jurors as african american and hispanic being relevant here. This is a case about the horrific consequences of homophobia, plain and simple. Instead, you seek to bring division on the issue by injecting bald face racism against the jurors. The defendant would hardly register any sympathy with people of color due to his white supremacist feelings. Maybe you sympathize with the sick individual who carried out this crime. I do not.

  12. OK - so I still don't get it. It still makes it OK to kill someone? Am I missing something?

  13. @LAX/JFK: you're a right-off idiot. You have no idea of what/where you are talking about.

  14. Oh, so the older brother was the kid's tutor!

  15. I wonder how many school shootings it will take for people to wake up and realize the 'benefit' of being able to kill someone if you need to defend yourself is just not worth it.

Why not just have a taser, instead of a gun?

That way, when the kids inevitably find the gun, someone might not end up dying as a result.

  16. LAX/JFK:

This topic is so serious that I'm ashamed that I had to laugh 2 minutes ago. Your comment was laughably absurd.

Sometimes it's difficult to believe that homosexuals are like everybody else on the planet: some of us are plain stupid.

  17. Does the prosecutor really have to show that the shooting was prejudicial? This is like a hail mary pass given the evidence. They didn't plead murder 2? Why are they doing this like a capital case? The kid isn't going to get the death penalty. Ugh.

  18. LAX/JFK -

Yep, most African-Americans and Hispanics have a lot of sympathy for a white supremacist who kills a light-skinned black teenager!

I see lots of African-Americans and Hispanic Americans cheering on white supremacists all the time. It fills them with so much joy to hear "white pride world wide"! It reminds them of the good old days when they're parents, grand parents, or other elders had the pleasure of being lynched. Hell, it reminds them of the great fun they have when they get pulled over by a white police officer and have to wonder if the officer is a good guy or one who might just like give them grief for driving while black or brown.

Thank you, LAX/JFK! Your astute acknowledgement of how black and brown people react to a gay hating, white supremacist is so on target. I really think that you would have a career working for the GOP. You could lead their recruitment effort for the colored folks!
