Arizona Streaker Charged with Felony, May Get Year and a Half of Jail
Jake Lancow, the Arizona streaker who posed as a referee is being made an example:
Jace Lankow, an undergraduate at the University of Arizona could face up to one and half years in jail after being charged with a class six felony for criminal impersonation.
“The Conference is extremely disappointed in the actions of the student-athletes involved in this incident,” Commissioner Larry Scott said in a statement. “It is unacceptable behavior and violated Conference rules, as well as NCAA fighting rules.
“I have taken these actions today because it is imperative that we hold our student-athletes and coaches to the highest standards of sportsmanship.”
Lancow's underwear-clad dash across the field inspired a brawl between players which resutlred in 10 suspensions.
THOSE LEGS AND THAT HOT ASS! He should get a slap on the wrist... err, ass for this. This country needs the humor, it's just "football" for Chrsitmas sakes, and it's college. That's a part of the college experience, so they need to lighten the f up!
I look forward to seeing it as a Halloween costume at teh WeHo Carnival this year!

He needs a good lawyer to plead this down to a misdemeanor. Anyway, felony impersonation normally requires criminal intent, but of course they've been chipping away at that for years. Of course, without criminal intent you'd be outlawing Halloween! They'll say discretionary prosecution will fix that. Sure...

So is he supposedly responsible for a bunch of ape football players getting into a brawl? The streaker is the exact kind of mischievous stuff that people enjoy at college football games. It certainly was more enjoyable than the game. Being expelled would even be too harsh for this type of thing. Since when has college gotten so damn uptight and un-fun?
