RIM Founder Apologizes for BlackBerry Outage: VIDEO
I don't have a BlackBerry but the worldwide outage must be pretty awful if RIM Founder and Co-CEO Mike Lazaridis is posting apology videos online.
Watch, AFTER THE JUMP...
Any of you folks having problems?

I love how you can hear the camera man say, "GO!" in the fade in. Bunk!! This clip is metaphorical for how RIM is doing these days.

It was a MASSIVE problem for business and morons, the only two groups that use blackberry.

Why am I moron for using a blackberry fenrox? Explain to me why my personal choice of phone makes me stupid? These phones/ personal organizers are devices, not metaphorical entities that deserve our respect or admiration. Steve Job (rip) and the RIM guys are business men and should be treated as such. A phone brand is not worth the heated passion that is manufactured by the brand itself. Whenever I see someone gets all glossy eyed over an apple product it freaks me out. It is an device (one of over a hundred to choose from). I think people need to be a little more of a reductionist with things like this.

Tonez:
Having choices is great, and I suppose a Blackberry is the best option for a few folks.
Maybe Apple-obsessed people like to gloat because Blackberrys once had a cult-like following...but no longer.
I never understood why anyone would want a cramped keyboard AND a small screen (Blackberry)...and Blackberry was slow to embrace touch and apps.
I also don't understand why Apple won't give us options like physical keyboards and larger screens.
So...I chose Android, and am quite happy with my BIG screen and BIG keyboard!

Fenrox, really? Grow up, man.

I was going to post a rather rude comment but I vetoed it. At least he was man enough to go in front of the world and apologize for the terrible service. When you have a private server like Blackberry's do for things like BBM issues will crop up. I forgive them for small foibles. No phone is perfect (recall how Apple had to give free cases out cause of a glitch in the iPhone 4?)
