Rick Perry Bashes Gays, Applauds Efforts to Repeal Marriage Equality in New Hampshire: VIDEO
At a Friday night event for Cornerstone Action, Rick Perry spoke out for opposite sex marriage and the repeal of equality in New Hampshire:
"As conservatives, we believe in the sanctity of life. We believe in the sanctity of traditional marriage. And I applaud those legislators in New Hampshire who are working to defend marriage as an institution between one man and one woman, realizing that children need to be raised in a loving home by a mother and a father."
As Brandon mentioned in his news round-up yesterday, if you check out the rest of the speech, Perry appears intoxicated our just batsh*t crazy.
Watch, AFTER THE JUMP...

As a Texas resident, IMHO, Perry, like so many of his fellow Texas GOPers, is batsh*t crazy. I've never supported him...and never will.

sanctity. right. that's why so many conservatives are on their 5th marriage and eventually get caught with a rentboy or hooker.

Being the gay father of two, I'll put my parenting skills up against Rick Perry's parents.
Perry's parents raised an intolerant imbecile with no intellectual curiosity, a staggering short supply of common sense, and a reliance on a stunted, prejudicial view of scripture that is certainly not anything Jesus Christ ever said or lived. Basically, they raised an assh*le idiot.
My boys are only five and display more intellectual curiosity and common sense than this dope. And they are far more open to the world and difference within people.
If he's the example of a conservative, I'm raising my sons to be progressives. With brains.

"realizing that children need to be raised in a loving home by a mother and a father."
Finally, a politician that is going to do something about all the unwed/single mothers in this country!
