NJ Teacher Bullies Special Needs Student: VIDEO

NJTeacherBully
Not all bullies are students.

Check out this vid, AFTER THE JUMP, in which an apparently psychotic teacher berates a student for three consecutive minutes on camera. "What're you gonna do, dude?" the teacher wonders, after the student asks the teacher to refrain from calling him "special."

You know what, dude? I will kick your ass from here to kingdom come. You're never gonna be able to beat me. You'll never be as big as me. You'll never be as buff ... When you get out of this school, I'll be right there. You tell me where you are, and I'll call you anything I want. 'Cuz there ain't gonna be a stinking thing you're gonna be able to do. There ain't gonna be nothing you're gonna do. There ain't gonna be nothing you're gonna ever ever ever ever ever ever do.

... except, possibly, get you fired. The teacher plainly had no idea that the object of his derision was surreptitiously recording his performance with a camera phone, which the student secreted, initially, under his chair. For now, the teacher's on paid admministrative leave while the doyens of New Jersey education analyze the footage, in which the teacher refers to the student as a "tard," and informs him that "nobody gives a f**K" about him in the "real world." What, if any, consequences the teacher will face should be announced some time in the coming weeks.

  1. He should be fired and his certification revoked. This man should never be any position of authority.

  3. I guess I don't understand how things work, administratively, how, after such an inflammatory video, which I watched, that this teacher is on paid administrative leave, rather than unpaid.

Lately, there has been a rash of teachers bullying special-needs students, and little is done about it. If I were a parent, I would protest that school until the teachers were removed.

Clearly, our society is so screwed up psychologically, that no one can be trusted to conduct them selves as a compassionate, caring adults . . . left alone with children without adult supervision.

  4. So he gets a paid vacation for his actions ... Where are the kid's parents to file a civil lawsuit against this idiot?

  5. What triggered this outburst? Apparently it wasn't the first one because the student brought a camera in and started it rolling. Teachers are very difficult to fire without a massive payout. We'll see how this goes.

  9. I was tormented by teachers in both Middle School & High School. I was a fat kid. I had a Science teacher in Middle School who while talking about gravity and how the heavier an object was the more gravity it exerted, circled my desk while holding a world globe in his hand. I was 11 or 12.

  10. Perhaps he could bone up on proper English usage while he's away on paid administrative leave. Bullying aside, sloppy English has no place in the classroom.

  14. "Paid administrative leave" because they have to go through a disciplinary meeting with the Teachers Union. That's why it isn't an immediate firing.

  15. yeah. nothing is more impressive than a grown-ass adult who bullies special needs children.

  16. Wow, what a compassionate guy. Cursing and saying "I'll kick your ass" to special ed students? What kind of messed up world does that sick f*ck teacher see inside of his head?

  17. Since when do teachers used the F-word in class? Not to mention telling a student "I'll kick your ass."

I realize it's a long time since I was in school but either one of those things would have been a firing offense when I was a student.

  19. Instead of paid leave, why not require him to spend the entire school day in a wheelchair? Then fire him. This tape makes me sick.

  20. I usually try to understand both sides of an issue before making up my mind, but I cannot fthink of any circumstance where this teachers actions were justified. He should not allowed in front of a group of children ever again.

  21. Johan:

Secrete = verb form of secret; to hide or, more rarely, to steal. The jewels were secreted in the bag lining, or The microphone was secreted beneath the lampshade. Not to be confused with participles of the word secretion.

  22. I have to wonder what this country is coming to when a teacher in a public school classroom can speak like that to a student. Absolutely unbelievable.

I hope this guy gets fired, his wife kicks him out and divorces him, he never gets to see his kids again, and he ends up living on the street. Maybe then he can experience the "reality sucks" that he speaks so eloquently about. What a jerk.

  23. he boy had the camera running in class because similar things had happened in the past. This is like Penn State where a person of authority takes advantage of someone younger and who trusts him. Once again after an investigation, they will discover that this behavior has happened in the past and has been covered-up by the school system.
Hopefully we will here the final results/

  24. Sadly, this is a problem that is not just confined to NJ. In many states it is easier to get certification as a "Special Needs" teacher than a regular certification.

I hope enough people contact the principal and school board members and insist on this teacher's decertification and termination. This "man", and I use that term loosely, should not be allowed to interact with children in the future.

  25. Was this teacher educated in Texas? Where did he learn to behave like this?
