Student Stops School Bus After Driver Loses Consciousness: VIDEO
Here's some pretty amazing surveillance video shot yesterday morning on a school bus in Seattle. The driver loses consciousness, possibly because of a heart attack, and a fast-thinking kid springs into action and stops the bus.
Nice work, kid!

The school system is going to suspend you for "inappropriately touching" the bus driver -- you pounded his chest -- so get a lawyer now.

The driver is reported to be in "grave condition" in the hospital. Thank God for that kid. Way to keep a level head in a crisis.

I am glad not to be the only one whose reaction to this was cry! I felt so upset seeing those kids in a such a position.
What great teamwork -- I would definitely be a proud parent!

Good for the kid. As a side note, not taking care of your health and the food you eat has consequences in fat loving America. You just get checked by a doctor when having a cardiac attack. They guy seems young enough; now a rough road ahead.

If this had been in Baltimore, the kids would have stopped the bus, robbed the driver, and stripped him naked while one of them recorded it on the driver's iPhone.
