The back shot is nice but the front shot didn’t even show nipples. Also the song was pretty good.

  2. Andreas says

He’s like the gay version of Mercedes, always overdoing songs and exaggerating his acting as if he were in Mommie Dearest. The whole show is a parody of itself!

  3. Lymis says

The episode didn’t work. It had a lot of the right pieces but it felt hurriedly stitched together and very forced. There were three or four major storylines, each of which should have been touching or heartwrenching, but all of which just felt beige.

Even for the unbelievable world of Glee the idea that a high school junior would just stop in the middle of the school day for a boxing workout punching the heavy bag and a quick shower between classes was pretty far out there – especially when there’s never been even a hint that Blaine is a jock (beyond his obvious level of fitness.)

Seriously, this is one insanely well equipped school. Do ANY public high schools have boxing curricula?

  4. Jason Michaels says

The show has gotten too preachy and a ‘learning lesson’. The shot of Blaine in the shower was silly…and he had a HUGE pimple on his back.

  5. Seattle Mike says

They HAD to shave his chest. Otherwise this “high school student” would be growing Sherwood Forest there.

  6. Andrew says

My thoughts exactly Seattle Mike, this is one instance when shaving makes sense. He’s supposed to be a teenager not the Burly Papertowel spokesman.

  7. donald says

Strange…I recall several guys in High School that were already sprouting chest hair. Mostly the athletes so maybe that is why the made him shave. The lengths that TV programs go to these days to be “visually correct” is ridiculous.

  8. Sam says

What is more cringe-worthy besides the ridiculous plot is how his “normal” voice segways right into auto-tune hell.

  9. says

Oh my god…you know what? If you don’t like the show, there’s a simple solution. DON’T WATCH IT. But stop trying to ruin it for the rest of us. And save your criticism for something practical, and not for simple facts of life like a zit.

  10. JSH says

I can’t believe all the people complaining about the video – HELLO! All you have to do is turn the sound on the video off & turn on Gaydar Radio… two great things that go great together :-)

  11. Ray says

Whine, whine, whine. How fun to read all the bitchy comments. Top to Bottom said it best in my book – DON’T WATCH IT.

  12. buster says

@Ray and JSH — Be careful what you wish for. If all the people who are consistently annoyed by and complain about this show stopped watching it, it would have virtually no viewers and would be cancelled.

@David: who cares whether he’s gay or not? I’D like to give Darrin Criss a shower…leer!

And I remember quite a few guys in high school who had hairy chests–getting an eyefull of that was the only thing that made gym class bearable (no pun intended).

  14. DMM18Nov says

Well I thought it was HOT and way better than suffering through Idol or The Voice…yikes!

  15. jaragon says

“Glee” is a high school MUSICAL a genre that has nothing to do with real life- any excuse to show the attractive Mr Criss taking a shower is fine with me.

  16. Kyle Michel Sullivan says

I want to know why he was put in such an unattractive outfit. The few times I’ve seen photos of his and Chris Colfer’s characters, they look like nitwits…and these are good-looking guys. Why can’t they wear something that’s actually flattering instead of mod?

  17. jack says

I don’t watch Glee regularly, but from what I’ve seen, at least its not “Modern Family”. That show is the gay equivelent of “Amos and Andy”.

  18. bravo says

    This show was sub-par.
His character’s clothing taste is atrocious. I want him to transfer back to the boys school – at least he rocked that outfit.
And his hair on the show has been looking terrible. But in high school, didn’t each of us have a number of bad style phases?
Maybe that’s what they are going for.
Kurt’s had a bad style phase for 2 seasons now.

I love glee. I love Darren Criss and it does seem that all the negativism toward him regarding his voice, acting and looks are based on a very nasty jealousy. As said earlier please don’t watch in the future and keep your hate to yourselves.

I L.O.V.E. Darren Criss. Totally. That is all. (I can’t get my emoticon to work! Oh, no!)

  23. SoLeftImRight says

I advocate as many shirtless/showering scenes for Darren Criss and Chord Overstreet, possibly together, as possible. The song was fine.

  24. Scooter says

I thought as a convention that when the singers are together in scenes, videos, that is “reality” but if they are singing alone in a crowd or merely alone, then they are singing in their head space. So Kurt singing from As If We Never Said Goodbye was in reality only when he was singing in the chorus room, and all the walking around school was sung in his mind. So too with Blaine singing without the other students is sung in his head space.

  25. ThomT says

@Jack – thank you on Modern Family … every character (not just the gays one) are stereotypes in the most offensive way. We have the old dude with the trophy wife, the trophy wife who is a buxom latino who yells everything and is mocked for mangling the english language. Then there’s the whipped husband who can’t make a decision without checking with wifey first … I won’t even go with the gay couple but they don’t represent any gay couple I know who are raising children.

“Top to Bottom said it best in my book – DON’T WATCH IT.”

Seems you don’t want anyone to have an opinion different than yours. That’s what “Don’t watch it” amounts to.
