Too much interconnectedness for me. I’d like to live a life free of constant information and messaging.

this seems neat but i don’t know if it’s going to be something i’d want.

imagine a world where everyone in public is always talking to themselves or one where everyone expects to reach you whenever they want. i still remember a pre-cellphone era where you had to call somebody’s home and leave a message.

I love technology, and have been a software engineer for over thirty years, so on one hand I would like this. BUT, I have to ask myself, do I really want to make it even easier for the world’s largest advertising company (which Google totally is) to augment my reality?

Better that Google is doing this than Apple. I shudder to think how bland, impersonal and limited this would be if it was from them. Mind you im sure Apple will find a stupid patent somewhere that this ‘infringes’ and then claim they invented the whole thing.
