I know this is cute, but responsible dog owners do not jeopardize the safety of their pets in this way. A piece of rock or road debris kicked up at fifty miles per hour can pierce your dog like a bullet.

What a cynical attempt to cover Romney’s Ass over his 12 hour dog torture story that he is so proud to tell.

Cynical and disgusting. Dont fall for it.

Well, these dogs better hope that Willard Romney doesn’t become the next US President. He’d advocate tying their canine asses to hood of the car. woof…woof.

Ha ha … my dog used to go crazy when he was riding in a car [his head out the window] under an EL train. He could never figure out where the train was

I love dogs. Attention pervs: I mean in a strictly platonic way.

Any veterinarian will tell you that it is a very, very bad idea to allow your dog to hang his/her head out the window of the car while driving. Your car, or a car in front of you, could easily kick up an errant rock which then ends up embedded in your dog’s eye. At the very least, it means your dog is in severe pain and has to spend some time at the emergency vet’s office. At worst, it means your dog loses his/her eye. Add to that the fact that dogs occasionally jump out of moving vehicles, and you realize that anyone who allows their dog to do this is not a responsible dog owner. Cute video. But *very* bad idea for your dog!

You can prevent a dog jumping from a car (which is rare unless the car is moving very slowly) with a leash. Attach to something fixed inside the car. As for rocks, I guess we should ban kids on bikes and anyone on motorcycles and convertibles will just have to go.

Then put a helmut and safety goggles on them! Also, always keep your windows rolled up so you or your passengers don’t get hit by flying debris. Geeze.

i’m not denying my pooch the joy of sticking her head out the window because of some miniscule risk of a freak accident, gimme a break

My dog….and most dogs I know….love to hang out the window. I am NOT going to tell him he cannot do it. Life is full of dangers for both humans and animals…does that mean we stop doing fun things. I wonder how many of the haters own…or have EVER owned a dog.

LIVE LIFE. LOVE DOGS. HAVE FUN. BE KIND & GENTLE WITH OTHER’S HEADS AND HEARTS; AND SEEK OUT THOSE THAT ARE KIND & GENTLE WITH YOUR OWN; AND YOUR DOGS. AND UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES, LIVE IN FEAR OF ERRANT ROCKS… EVER.

If you understand the dog’s sense of smell, you’ll understand that putting its face in the wind like that, the dog is receiving so much stimulation, it’s like having some kind of orgasm.

ruined at the end by the human dogs
esp. the when the second one kinda turns his snout up in the air imitating fido
    oh so fugly
better to have kepts the mutts out of the end and kept the focus on the four legged woofs
    but then again
dogs are somewhat gross in general

This is a very informative post; I have read very few articles on the web just like this one and I am surely going to share it with my friends so they will also get awareness.
