Karl Rove Accuses Obama of Politicizing Gay Marriage: VIDEO

Rove

Karl Rove, who was key to making gay marriage a wedge issue in the 2004 election, accuses Obama of doing the same.

Writes Jon Bershad at Mediaite: "This interview is basically like watching Michael Jordan go on TV and accuse someone else of being a basketball player."

  1. the republicans have been politicizing homosexuality for years, what pisses them off more the fact most people are in favor gay rights or the Obama's gotten many, many contributions to his reelection campaign?

  2. If anyone knows what it's like to politicize gay marriage, Rove, it would certainly be you. What's wrong? Hate a challenge with someone who can best your sorry ass by being on the RIGHT side of history and the constitution? Imagine that; a sore loser Republican.

  3. Jon Bershad at Mediate has already penned this one perfectly. My question would have been why Karl Rove was getting face-time on camera at all, but then I saw the Fox News Logo. Nuff said.

Shortly after the president made his announcement in support of Marriage Equality, many comments were posted on various blogs suggesting he had factored this into his political strategy for reelection. A response to one of those: “Gee, you think? He’s not a grocery clerk, you know.”

  4. Considering that Karl Rove was G.W. Bush's butt-boy all these years (along with Alberto Gonzales), I think it's a bit much that Karl (or Karla, as he is known among certain closeted republicon circles) is accusing our president of "politicizing" gay marriage when, in fact, Karl(a)'s filthy little fingers have Ohio 2004 written all over them.

  5. ...Okay Here It Is (my view at least)...
THIS MAN IS IRRELEVANT. HE IS A FOSSIL FROM ANOTHER ERA. HE CONTRIBUTES NOTHING WORTHWHILE TO SOCIETY.

NOTE TO FOX NEWS AND ALL OTHER TROLLS: FIND SOMEONE ELSE TO CANONIZE. HE ISN'T WORTH THE TIME. THE GOP IS SO FAR DOWN THE MORAL LADDER AND AT THE BOTTOM OF WHATEVER IS LEFT OF SANE POLITICS. GO AWAY, DOUGHBOY.
    SHOO. GET OUT.

  6. Mr. Rove: Retire, already. Your time is long past.
