AFA's Bryan Fischer: Gays Should Be Denied Custody of Children —VIDEO

Bfischer

American Family Association hate group mouthpiece Bryan Fischer said that gays should not be allowed to parent children because children in same-sex homes are at a higher risk for sexual molestation, citing the deeply flawed Mark Regnerus study and the Jerry Sandusky Penn State abuse case, Right Wing Watch reports.

  1. Sandusky is a straight-identifying man. As in he identifies as straight. His closeted everything elses don't matter - like most paedophiles, he identifies as straight. Duh.

  2. "Sandusky is a straight-identifying man. As in he identifies as straight. His closeted everything elses don't matter - like most paedophiles, he identifies as straight. Duh"

LOL. By that definition, there were no more than about 2 dozen gay men in the world 50 years ago, since virtually every man who preferred sex with men was married to a woman and had children and no doubt thought of himself as "straight", which is still the case with 90+% of homosexual men in the world today.

Some of you folks are truly hilarious with your word games and your overtly political motives, but it does not fool the public. The public sees Sandusky as the homosexual he is, whether you like it or not, and that is precisely--sad to say--why he has been villified to the extent that he has.....if he had molested girls, this would not have been an occasion for national "soul-searching,"....instead, it would have been a story that was largely confined to Pennsylvania and gotten about 10% of the attention that it has.

It is what it is, all the way around.

  3. Does he have a history of homosexual relationships? All i've seen so far is that he's married to a woman who still defends her, he still insists he loves her and is married to her, and his only other sexual activities have involved raping children.

And yes, the reason that Equality has not yet been attained is because way too many gay people, particularly adult gay men, refuse to identify as gay. You're one of them you sad troll.

He self-identifies as straight. Like most people who try to hide who they are do.

  4. BF must be real fun at parties. David Duke used to have a TV show in LA and broadcast in other states and Morton Downey Jr. used to have the KKK in full drag on his show (though MDJ would goad them by going along and then going into his traditional tirade at the end). MDJ might even have hosted Duke at one point. It was a low road to ratings.

  6. So far as we know all of Sandusky's victims were male, but only he knows what's going on in that twisted psyche of his. But the reason he had access to those victims in the first place is that he was a self-identified heterosexual, married with children, and involved in the "macho world" of football. He was even so concerned with the "welfare" of children he started a charity for them, which just so happened to give him access to children and a position of authority over them.

None of this, the marriage or the charity, was an accident. He was a predator, using both to get access to his prey. It's also no accident that the charity served children from "broken" homes because they are easier to manipulate and victimize.

And if you were paying attention instead of just being a homophobic contrarian troll you'd notice that I specified that OUT gay men are almost never child sex abusers. Not that it has never happened, but it's rare. Several studies have shown this. But one of the most important operative words in that sentence is OUT. Out gay men have already told you what they're interested in, other consenting adult men. And being an out gay man tends to make parents more watchful of their children around you so it isn't a successful strategy for a pedophile, who is only interested in gaining access to his prey. Do you really think people would have ignored a gay man taking young boys home with him for "sleepovers" without question the same way they did Sandusky? No.

Every word of what I've stated is backed up by research so take your fake contrarian objections, Rick, and shove them.

  7. @RICK - does NOM pay you to post on here? An education would do wonders for you. And some therapy.

  8. @Caliban speaks the truth!

  9. Since it's not against the law to be stupid...
Some one should sue this guy for inciting hate and violence against GLBT people.

  10. @Caliban I would think you would have learned your lesson when you made that "OUT" statement before and only a week later had to eat those words when one of San Francisco's most "OUT" activists was arrested for having kiddie porn on his computer.

Regardless, what you don't get is that the public could not care less about your distinctions about who is "out" or not, nor do they care whether Jerry Sandusky was married or what he "identifies" as......all they care about is that he was molesting young boys and a big part of their outrage has to do with the fact that it was a homosexual act he was committing, not that he was taking advantage of children.

So trying to become an accepted participant in their piling on by claiming that Sandusky is/was "not gay" and that you are therefore on the same side as they are is not going to do you or us any good.

I understand what you are trying to do, but you are better off being honest and just admitting that, yes, there are some gay/homosexual/whatever men that do bad things like molest children or murder their sex partners (a la Jeffrey Dahmer), just as there are some straight men that do so....in other words, we are no better than other people, we are just not any worse.

That is the credible line to take, not attempting to pretend that there is no such thing as people who are both homosexual/gay and pedophiles at the same time.....which nobody is going to buy.

  11. Rick, let's remove Sandusky from the equation for the sake of argument. The fact remains that EVERY person who covered up his crimes, who looked the other way and enabled him to continue abusing children for another decade, are all apparently straight. That includes McQueary who witnessed him raping a child but never told the authorities, Paterno who covered it up so it wouldn't damage his football team's reputation, the Penn State administrators who did the same thing and lied under oath about it, and the janitor who witnessed Sandusky with a boy but was afraid to say anything.

They didn't think Sandusky was a member of the gay community, they KNEW he was a pedophile, a danger to the children he surrounded himself with. You kind of have to wonder (or at least I do) what McQueary and Paterno would have done if they'd witness two teammates the same age in the shower having sex. I suspect they would have thrown a fit and expelled them from the team.

So a married man with children abuses boys and other straight married men cover up his crimes and allow him to keep abusing children, but when a DECADE later he's finally exposed it's the GAY community left holding the flaming bag of dog poo?!

Let me see if I have this right. The vast majority of child sex abuse is men molesting little girls but that in no way is an indictment of straight men. But if a married man who has NEVER identified as gay or considered himself part of the gay community molests a boy then it's just more evidence of how perverted all gay men are. Because that's what both Bryan Fisher and you are saying. How very convenient! It's not gay people parents have to fear around their children, it's married men who are "so good with kids" who go out of their way to spend time with them unsupervised.

  12. Rick might just be the biggest troll on the internet. I'm happy to know no one takes him seriously on here

  13. And I think kids should be taken away from religious nutballs like Bryan Fischer. They are a danger to society with their fanatical thinking and inability to adapt to the 21st century.
