NY Assemblyman Danny O'Donnell and Actor Anthony Rapp Speak Out Against Romney: VIDEO
Daniel O'Donnell, the lead sponsor of the marriage equality bill in the Empire State and the first out gay New York Assemblyman (and brother of Rosie), and Rent actor Anthony Rapp are the latest public figures to speak out in the "Mitt Gets Worse" campaign, formed recently to expose Romney's anti-LGBT past, and his agenda.
Watch their testimonials, AFTER THE JUMP...

When Governor, Romney was actually one of the most gay-friendly leaders in America. He was more gay-friendly than a number of Democrat Governors.

It's depressing how many gay people STILL hate themselves enough to vote Republican. WHAT is wrong with these idiots ?

@Jason: operative word in your statement is "was". Just as Huntsman said of Romney, "he's a well-oiled weather vane."

Very nice, but preaching to the choir. Everyone who sees this will most likely be a Democrat and Obama supporter.

Meh. Sorry, but I don't let wedge issues distract me from the full picture. I'm still voting for Romney in November. I'll either vote for Romney, or I won't vote at all...there's no way I'm voting for Obama again.

Actually Deval Patrick has cut HIV spending 13.3% since 2008 and federal health officials plan to cut grants by $9 million this year. The state is also cutting another $1.2 million to screen inmates for HIV. Also recent reports have come out that it was Dubya that spent more on HIV/AIDS than Clinton or Obama and continues to help prevent the spread of HIV/AIDS. It is true that Romney cut the LGBT youth program.

Until 2010, Barack Obama had done nothing for gay people in his entire life except sign a few forms. Then he suddenly says in 2008 that he will be 'a fierce advocate' for gay people. Four years have passed without any fierce advocacy. THE CONGRESS passes a law eliminating don't ask, don't tell. Then his vice president comes out in favor of gay marriage and Obama suddenly says he supports it. Then turns around and holds a bunch of fundraisers to a collect on his meager endorsement (Almost ten years after the initial controversey when a real leader would have helped).
Romney's lame and all but Obama takes us for granted and has not been a forceful advocate for gay causes. Except for a 'it gets better video' he has not done anything in the name of bullying and he hasn't challenged homophobia within the black and latino communities where he is very popular. The congress repealed don't ask, don't tell during a lame duck session without his urging.
Again, I think Romney sucks. But I think it is also pathetic watching gay people applaud Obama at fundraisers and campaign for him. He doesn't care about us! The religious know that if you draw a hard line politicians will bow to it. We should stop letting politicians string us along...

@ Annoying (Appropriately named, btw)
Repeal of DADT was accomplished by skillful diplomacy and working with the military leadership. Obama is responsible for that.
The government no longer defends DOMA in court. Obama is responsible for that.
For the first time, a sitting President has advocated for marriage equality. Obama is responsible for that.
You can vote for Romney and see the Republicans work to repeal our rights. You will be responsible for that.
