In part one of a two-part segment, PBS Newshour's Spencer Michels looks at Obama's shift on same-sex marriage and how it has affected LGBT fundraising, speaking with attorney Bob Michitarian, former ambassador James Hormel, bundler Wade Randlett, and gay Republican political consultant Chris Bowman. The Obama campaign declined to accommodate Michels' request to interview key fundraisers for the story.

This was a very good article. Love the story of the strait marine that cared about the gay people in his unit.
Still don't understand the log cabin people.

I do not agree that gay republicans are more focused on the economy and jobs than gay democrats.
Romney believes in trickle down economics, a proven, failed policy that will only make the rich richer and widen economic inequality.
As a gay democrat, I believe that the policies that President Obama has tried to implement will do more to help create jobs and prevent another financial disaster.
Let's work on green jobs and improving our infrustructure and at the same time get the economy going by creating jobs.
