KFC's Colonel Sanders Loves The Gays - And Bette Midler: VIDEO

GoodmanSanders

John Goodman channeled his inner Southerner in this Funny or Die sketch featuring the actor portraying KFC founder Colonel Sanders, who loves the gays.

Why, in the 140 years he's been on this planet, the Colonel has never hurt a gay — in fact he may even be gay, he says! He does after all enjoy the company of men and tapping his fictionalized toe to Bette Midler. So, unlike Chick-fil-A, KFC is opening their arms for the gays to feast on their legs. Some participating locations are even putting a table dancing mandate into place!

  1. Hilarious! It's great to see gay men enjoying carbs!

  3. Funny, but if you want to be taken seriously, then raise the bar.

  4. KFC is complaining about it on Facebook.

  5. KFC needs to clean their fryers out and take out the deep fried rats! That is where they got the slogan: We do chicken "raght!" Raght (and you thought is was "right," but you need to listen closely) is the replacement for "rat," like in rodent--seriously! One can not taste the difference between the two! Thoughts to ponder!

  6. Why would I go to any of these toxic waste dumps when I can get a freshly rotisseried chicken at the deli for much less $$?

  7. Well, thanks....sorta. Appreciate the support, mostly, but....I wish it were funny.

And once, just once, I think it would be really enlightening to show a non-stereotypical gay man, without the whiny, high-pitched voice, the flouncing, and the over-emoting. You know ...the kind we'd all like to date.

  8. More scampering, simpering, tittering gays. Not so funny to me.

  10. Nit picky I know, but he says he was just listening to his favorite Bette Midler album "Thighs and Whispers" but he holds up the album "Broken Blossoms." Where was the continuity person?

  11. Yeah this didn't make me laugh...

How about we all just don't go to fast food restaurants find a southern food or chicken and waffle place that actually makes good food? Or just have a salad.

@MB Hahahaha. I go crazy about those things too.

  12. This was funny, sarcastic, and oddly thought-provoking- not Einstein-thought-provoking, but pretty darn good. I miss Mr. Goodman too; he's a good actor.

  13. It is funny, but probably inaccurate. The real Col Sanders was also a fundamentalist Christian who died in 1980 and is thus unlikely to be anything but horrified at the idea of gay people.

  14. I COULD CARE LESS ABOUT Kentucky Fried Chicken - IT IS EXPENSIVE AND THE CHICKEN PIECES ARE SMALL. I LIKE Church's Chicken - IT IS CHEAP, THE PIECES ARE BIG AND GREASY.

SINCE MANY MALE HOMOSEXUALS ARE "size-queens," WHY WOULD THEY WANT TO EAT SMALL CHICKEN?
