Yesterday we reported on a heartwarming moment during the season premiere of The X-Factor. It seemed that we would be in store for another one last night, especially when reminded of the fact that PopCrush reported on one of last night's contestants coming out to Britney Spears on stage. Apparently Fox didn't think that that was something people wanted to see, as they edited the confession out of the episode.
Jesse Ventura has had some out there ideas in the past, but his opposition to Minnesota's anti-gay marriage amendment is certainly not one of them.
The past week has seen a flurry of action involving gay rights and the sport of football. Well a German footballer (the soccer kind) gave an anonymous interview with a web publication this week in which he said he was afraid to come out because it would cost him his career. German Chancellor Angela Merkel says that he need not fear.
The first presidential debate is fast approaching and today Mitt Romney stated that his prep involves getting ready for Obama to lie. Speaking of the Romney/Ryan ticket, watch Paul Ryan get heckled by HIV activists in Philadelphia today.
Over a week ago, former Michigan Governor Jennifer Granholm gave a rousing speech at the DNC. Over 30 years ago, she was looking for a date.
