AFA's Bryan Fischer Calls CNN 'The Gay Gestapo' for Hangin Up on Him: VIDEO

Fischer

Earliier this week, CNN's Carol Costello hung up on hate group leader Bryan Fischer when he started into his rant about how Hitler and the Nazis were gay and compared an anti-bullying program to cyanide-laced candy. Now, she's apparently a Nazi too and has earned her spot in the "gay Gestapo," Right Wing Watch reports.

  1. The Nazis were right-wing extremists, just like Mr. Fischer there. Identifying them as left-wingers is either intentionally misleading or it's misinformed.

  3. There's not enough Preparation H in the world that can soothe Bryan's butthurt.

  4. I couldn't concentrate on what Bry-Bry said because all I could hear was Karen Walker saying, "Honey what's this, what's happening, what's going on?" Fischer's ditched the glasses, donned a pink chemise and has obviously had some work done on his eyes (hence the glasses dump). He's all prettied up. Guess it's an attempt so soften his look so people won't be so disgusted when hearing things like: Gay Gestapo and Stormtroopers of the Homosexual Movement. The "Big Gay" bit actually made me think of Big Bird.

  5. The Religious Right has been doing enough of a Nazi campaign on various issues that the Jewish Anti-Defamation League has called them out. Fischer relies on sources like "The Pink Swastika" by Scott Lively, which have been totally discredited by real historians. One of the gems is that the Nazi party's official name has "socialist" in it - therefore, the Nazis must needs be left-wing.

A great hero of many conservative Christians is CS Lewis. He was a professor of English Literature at Oxford. He once remarked that at a university one must allow a multiplicity of points to be heard, including the president of the flat earth society. However, he notes, that one must not give such a person a chair in geography. I suppose that since we have logic here (and in the link posted above to the Philosophy prof in Australia) the Religious Right will denounce this concept.

  6. There are different shades of pink. For example, there is "suburban pink," which is the heavy, bright pink color that you might see men wearing on a suburban golf course. And then there is "sledgehammer pink," which is that really super-light pastel baby pink; that shade of pink is so feminine that it hits you over the head with a sledgehammer. Bryan Fischer is wearing is wearing sledgehammer pink.
