  1. Good comeback, Caliban.
We would also have felt bludgeoned by a Romney supreme court that reversed Lawrence vs. Texas.

  2. This video is just amazing. No other 7 minutes illustrates so perfectly what's wrong with this man. He doesn't even seem to know that he just lost the presidency. This kind of false, disconnected, space alien behavior is a key reason why Romney lost. It is frightening that this man almost became president, regardless of his positions on anything.

  3. Ok. I know this will fall on deaf ears, but I have to say it anyway. Did any of your parents ever teach you about treating others with dignity? The bitchy comments on here constantly make me sick to my stomach with worry over the direction our country is headed in. The man lost. He gave a speech. Get over it. Does it really make you feel better to bash someone that you don't even know. How many of you have actually listened to what Romney said or read his books? I would have taken Romney any day over someone like Santorum who actively spread his hate and distaste for the LGBT community. How can we expect tolerance from radical Republicans (or anyone for that matter) if we constantly spew vitriol in their direction?

  4. Well on one news channel I was watching, they stated that Romney's camp had not even written a Concession speech. Only a victory speech@ Hence why it took him so long to come out, and also why his speech is very no directional in his delivery

  5. It's good to see that President Obama's pledge to reach across party lines is being echoed by his party faithful....Not. The repulsive ad hominem and partisan comments posted above accurately reflect the true nature of Obama's political nature and movement: corruption of the worst type. I am always shocked but never surprised at the utter hypocrisy of the Obama camp and Obama supporters. They lambast Romney for being racist, and then turn around and discriminate against Whites, or condone such discrimination. They lambast Romney for being rich, and then "spread the wealth" to themselves, or say nothing when it is their own making the money. There was a deafening silence from the Democratic quarters when Jay-Z spent $150K on a champagne-glass fountain for an Obama fundraiser. Americans are going hungry and yet Obama gladly attended that fundraiser. What about Jay-Z's millions? How about Steven Spielberg's or David Geffen's billions? Or Bruce Springsteen's many millions? All of their money was earned through and by corporations. Yet many Dems are silent. They criticize Romney for intolerance towards women and Gays, and then turn around and mock Romney's religion, while giving Obama a pass on all of his discrimination against Women and Gays. He enforced discrimination against Gay people for several years. He is still "as President" against Gay marriage. He has done nothing to compensate the more than 14,000 people hurt by DADT--many of whom he discharged. He is still prosecuting Lt. Dan Choi in two separate cases. Obama refused to attend (White and Gay) Frank Kameny's lying-in-state, but went to some little known (Black) rapper in New York's funeral. Again, Obama is racist and homophobic. He is no more the embodiment of MLK, Jr. than George Wallace was. Obama treats women so badly in his own White House that he was forced to sponsor a dinner for his female staff to try to give some semblance of caring about them. Millions of Americans are also still out of work, and receiving nothing from the Obama administration, because they don't fall into one of his favored constituency groups. And, of course, Amb. Stevens and the three other Americans murdered in Libya still remain dead due to outright negligence on Obama's part. Obama also continues his war against free speech in this country, enforcing measures that even the most ardent Democratic supporters are crying foul about. The truth is that Obama won not because he was morally superior to Romney or a better governor of the Nation, but because he simply bought more votes through government spending and was a better liar. I think if the commentators above were to carefully read the news from across the nation and the world, they would see that even many of Obama's supporters simply thought him the "lesser of two evils." There can be no real pride or congratulations in that--no matter how much President Obama and his supporters shamefully gloat. In fact, anyone who supports equality, justice, and good government had to have been saddened for America at Obama's re-election. And it will only get worse, as now Obama has no reason to improve or to do what is right. He is lame duck starting today.

I truly feel sorry for President Obama and his supporters like his commentators. No matter how much they call their critics names (like Beyonce ridiculously calling 49% of Americans "MITCHES", i.e., "BITCHES") they can't change the fact that they are exactly what they accuse their opponents of being: partisan, petty, racist, sexist, homophobic, incompetent, etc. And the bad thing for them is that they know it, and can only respond by further petty name calling, which I'm sure will ensue to my post.

  7. Joseph, you say this is a "man we don't even know." Don't you see a problem with saying that about a man who was running for president of the US? I think we did know him, or enough about him to know that he is not a decent human being. Why should someone like that be treated with any kind of respect? I see no need to show respect to someone who has shown first that they have no respect for me.

  9. "Did any of your parents ever teach you about treating others with dignity?"

YEP! I was also taught the golden rule: do unto others as you would have others do unto you. Since Romney's religion would have me burnt at a stake if it got its way, I'm on solid footing for pointing out what a ridiculous crock o' sh-t Romney's religion is.

  10. Now the irritating troll is just posting the same crap over and over on various threads. Can his IP please be banned?

    Posted by: EchtKultig | Nov 7, 2012 2:29:48 PM

  11. He does come off as a bitter ol' queen; a bit sore that he didn't get what he wanted. I see hate sex with Anne.

  12. Guys, a (and I presume this) JAMES E. PIETRANGELO, II stood up alongside Dan Choi to protest DADT. He has done a lot of good for the LGBT rights movement. Show him a little respect, even if he is posting the same rant on numerous threads.

  13. You know, I'd would love to be there with him, his wife and five sons as they walk around trying to figure out "Why did we loose?"......Because the majority of Americans who voted DON'T WANT NOR AGREE WITH YOU! It's that simple Mr Romney.

    Posted by: andrew | Nov 7, 2012 3:16:51 PM

  14. let's attempt some intellectual honesty here, folks who are for no logical reason being angry at the Obama team and supporters.

who's been the big roadblock for the last few years? who's voted NO on anything and everything? who has stalled america's progress because they're republicans first and americans second?

    who has divided whom?

the "division" in the country is not coming from any so-called "liberals" - it's coming from conservatives who care more about their republican identity than the actual factual POLICIES that make up party platforms.

Obama is neither racist nor homophobic, and anyone who claims he is is revealing their own petty racism and cowardly self-hate as a homosexual.

    true story.

  15. I hear that the hell prepped for lying & greedy Mormons r extra hot! Bon voyage, my friend!

    Posted by: Iban4yesu | Nov 7, 2012 3:48:22 PM

  16. So JAMES stood up against DADT, and now joins the Republicans who stood against him in spreading vicious, baseless, hysterical, childish lies about our president? I should respect that?

    Posted by: EchtKultig | Nov 7, 2012 4:01:40 PM

  17. Yes, how very dare we say a negative word about Romney's religion, which all but DEMANDED that its faithful mobilize against gay rights all across the country, most famously against CA's Prop 8. All they did was exhort Mormon's to donate money and/or time to that campaign, funding distorted and hateful ad campaigns against our rights. But it wasn't *just* in California they did that, they've done it in EVERY state where gay rights or gay marriage was on the ballot, in direct contravention of the separation of Church & State as laid out in the Constitution.

And all Romney did was consistently deny our humanity throughout his campaign to the extent that it's ONLY in comparison to truly unhinged homophobes and religious ideologues like Rick Santorum and Michele Bachmann that he can be described as "moderate" with a straight face.

So no, I won't be cutting Mitt Romney or Paul Ryan any slack. I truly hope Romney retires to his money vault like Scrooge McDuck and stays there so I never have to see or hear his paltry imitation of humanity again.

  18. Obviously I meant "in SUPPORT of Prop 8, against gay rights."

    Posted by: Caliban | Nov 7, 2012 4:06:04 PM

  19. JAMES E. PIETRANGELO, II—if that is your real name (the II is very suspicious). Tha campaign is over. OVER. President Obama won a second term. He WON. Maybe not by a huge margin, but he played a fair game, unlike his opponent, and the American people (at least, one can scientifically assume that they are people as they have demonstrated an intelligence corresponding thereupon) have spoken. They are not gloating, they are celebrating. You have demonstrated yourself as a holdover of the distant/recent past in two blovious paragraphs. Furthermore, you cannot make such serious accusations without presenting proof thereof. I would also suggest seeing your primary physician and having your medication adjusted.

  20. I give Mr Romney credit for a classy concession speech. It was well done.

    Posted by: andrew | Nov 7, 2012 6:29:53 PM

  21. He should have prepared a concession speech beforehand and delivered it promptly. His sense of total entitlement never ceases to amaze me.
